Title: This Brand New Colony

Summary:This is sort of a sequel to You've Escaped, which I had written a little bit ago for suchaprince's birthday. Afterwards the pairing kind of just stuck in my head, and after I mentioned possibly writing a follow up to suchaprince and was told that I had better do so this little one shot sort of came tumbling out. The title, of course, it taken from the Postal Service song "Brand New Colony which also appeared on the Adam/Ruby mix I'd made to go along with the story that came before this one.
Beta: My Dear Watson suchaprince, meaning that this one is much less of a grammar mess then its predecessor.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything, I don't write Supernatural. If I did, Katie Cassidy would canonically be the ONLY Ruby, and Adam wouldn't have been a regular in season 6. And as per usual, when I write Ruby she is ALWAYS Katie!Ruby, as I think you may have already guessed.

And then it was HER BIRTHDAY. so I wrote it... and I totally made a mix to go with it too. Also, I should mention, the title comes from the Aloha song of the same name

Notes: So, basically, in the year and a half that it took me to write The Wasteland I had managed to compile a "sound track" that I would listen to while I was writing it, and that I also gave to my beta suchaprince to listen to while she was beta...ing? And she thought listening to it while reading was kinda awesome, so I thought, hey, why not share it with the greater interwebs? And I totally did not have the selfish motive of trying to coerce more people into reading my series ... none at all.

You see, awhile back, when we first got on our whole "Katie!Ruby and Crowley would be the BESTEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD" bit we decided that back in the day, the two of the them were totally Bonnie and Clyde.
And then she went and was even more awesome and wrote this nifty fic called You, me, and the Ford V8 ABOUT them actually BEING Bonnie and Clyde. And it was freakin' amazing.
