There are over 300 communities on Live Journal dedicated towards promoting ana/mia and all other forms of ED.
This is not one of them.
This is a haven, a home for people who are dealing with issues that go beyond body perfection...for people who realize the root of their eating disorder goes beyond Mary Kate and Ashley Olson, beyond weight loss, and beyond vanity. This is a place for people to vent, to ask, to plead and to support. Here, I hope to encourage people to talk about their lives, what happened to get them here, what they plan to do in the future. Spiritual relationships to ED will also be welcomed.
I do not advocate eating disorders in any way, and anyone who does so will be banned from this community without warning.
In addition to eating disorders, anyone who has any issue with self-injury is welcome to this community. Again, no form of self injury will be promoted. This is more of a tell-all, more of a letting-go, more of a place to look for support than anything else.
