Want to receive the latest updates about upcoming HYROX events? Sign up for our newsletter using the button below. Additionally, be sure to follow us on our social media for news and announcements, so you won’t miss any of the events ahead!

Unfortunately, the division you want to register for is full. You can choose to sign up for the waiting list, if available. Alternatively, we recommend checking if there is another division you would like to participate in.

Spectators are absolutely welcome, and nothing is better than being cheered on by friends and family. Spectator tickets are available on the event page under ‘Spectators.’

Children up to 12 years old do not need a Spectator ticket, but they must be accompanied by an adult.

All participants who need food or hydration must carry it with them from the start of the race. Water is available after each pass through the Roxzone. Specific information about sports drinks or hydration supplements provided during HYROX will be detailed in the Athlete Guide. Participants may not accept food or drinks from anyone other than at the Aid Station during the event (considered external assistance), as failure to comply may result in penalties or disqualification.

First aid is available during the event, both inside and outside the Roxzone. In case of an emergency, reach out to a HYROX staff member along the course or at a Workout Station.

Are there lockers, changing rooms, and showers?
Changing rooms are always available at the event. Showers are not provided. Lockers are not arranged by HYROX and may or may not be available depending on the venue.

You can check a small sports bag at the Bag Drop. HYROX is not responsible for any items left outside the Bag Drop. You must collect your bag within one hour after finishing your race.

For the most up-to-date information, you should regularly check the event page of the specific event you are attending.

HYROX is for EVERYBODY. Please email benelux@hyrox.com, and we will see how to make the race possible for you.

An awards ceremony will be held for the 1st through 3rd place winners of each Age Group in each division. During the ceremony, athletes will receive a winner’s flag. Please refer to the Athlete Guide for specific ceremony times.

Spectators are welcome to take photos and videos during the race from the Spectator Area. However, athletes may not carry a phone during the race.

A Sportograf Photo Package is also available for purchase. Our partner Sportograf will capture your entire race, preserving your HYROX experience in a digital photo package.

You may request a press pass by emailing benelux@hyrox.com. Please include the organization you represent, and your request will be reviewed within a few days.

A Sportograf Photo Package is a digital photo package that you will receive after the event as a keepsake of your HYROX experience. Our partner Sportograf will follow you throughout the race, capturing your performance with facial recognition technology. There are three types of packages:

  • Sportograf Photo Package (Single Divisions)
  • Sportograf Photo Package (Doubles Divisions)
  • Sportograf Photo Package (Relay Divisions)

You can also purchase a Sportograf Photo Package after the event via the Sportograf website.

Note: A Sportograf Photo Package is personal. If all athletes in a Doubles or Relay team would like photos, each person must purchase their own package.

Don’t panic, Sportograf captures everyone during the race. Simply upload a selfie after your race and purchase your photos directly from the website.

Important: To find your Sportograf redemption Ticket ID, you must first personalise your ticket. Simply log in to your HYROX account and complete personalisation. The code can be found under the barcode on your downloaded Sportograf PDF ticket.

If participating with a DOUBLE ticket, each participant must purchase their own DOUBLE Division Sportograf package (€19.99 per person) to receive photos. The package is per person, so if only one person wants photos, that person can purchase a SINGLE DOUBLE Division package. It’s more cost-effective to purchase the package before the race.

HYROX is an official sport with global rankings and results. Click the links below to view the competition rules for the various divisions.

  • HYROX Doubles Rulebook
  • HYROX Relay Rulebook

Since HYROX is a race for EVERYBODY, we have tried to make the exercises as accessible as possible.

You have the option to withdraw from the race at any time. We have Crew members along the course and at the various Workout Stations who can send medical personnel to assist you in case of an emergency.

This depends on your fitness level. The average HYROX finishing time in 2023/2024 was 1 hour and 25 minutes, but there is no time limit for the race. Some finishers took up to 4 hours, while Hunter McIntyre set the HYROX world record at 53:22 minutes.

Penalties are assigned when a participant does not adhere to the rules as outlined in the Rulebooks for Individual, Doubles, and Relay races. The specific types and associated consequences are described in the relevant Rulebooks. There are several types of penalties:

  1. Time Penalties
    1.1 Missing Run Laps:
If a participant does not run the correct number of laps, a time penalty of 3-7 minutes per missed lap will be added to their final result time. For example, for a specific location, the time penalty might be 5 minutes. If a participant’s time is 1:24 but they missed 2 laps during the race, their final result time will be 1:34 (2 x 5 min penalties).1.2 Completing Workout Stations in the Wrong Order:
If a participant does not complete the Workout Stations in the correct order (1 – 8), they must complete the missing Workout Station before proceeding to Station 8 (Wall Balls). Completing the race in the wrong order results in a penalty of 3 minutes. If more than one exercise is completed in the incorrect order, the participant will be automatically disqualified.1.3 Missed Workout/Missed 1K Run:
Missing a complete Workout or 1K Run leads to disqualification.1.4 Confusion at Roxzone IN and OUT:
Every time a participant runs into the Roxzone through the OUT arch or leaves the Roxzone through the IN arch, they receive a 1-minute penalty.
  2. Distance/Time Penalties
Distance/Time penalties can be imposed during the running and at Workout Stations 1-7. Distance penalties depend on the exercise and range from 5 meters (Single starters) to 10 meters (Doubles). Time penalties depend on the infraction and the Workout Station.Penalty decisions can be made by any Judge, with the Head Judge’s approval. For Workout Stations 1-7, there will be one warning per station before penalties are imposed if movement standards are not met. On the second warning, the repetition is considered invalid, and the athlete receives the corresponding distance/time penalty. Any further warning within the station will result in a new distance/time penalty. The time penalty will be based on the infraction.
  3. Did Not Finish
If a participant does not complete a Workout Station, they will receive no result data and will be excluded from all rankings and prizes. However, they may continue with the race (without a finishing time).
  4. Disqualification
If a participant is disqualified by a Head Judge, they will receive no result data and will be excluded from all rankings and prizes. Once disqualified by a Head Judge, the participant may not continue the race.
  5. Deviations from Movement Standards
Any execution of a movement that deviates from the movement standards, and/or is unusual and/or results in a time advantage, will not be recognized and will result in an invalid repetition (no repetition) or a time/distance penalty, depending on the Workout Station.

To qualify for the HYROX World Championships (WC), you must participate in one of our 63 races. Depending on your division and Age Group, a certain number of qualification slots will be assigned at each race. If you qualify, you will receive an invitation and have 48 hours to claim your spot. Otherwise, it will be assigned to the next participant. Please note that there are no qualification spots for the HYROX Relay.

In addition to the WC, there are also HYROX Open Championships. These consist of two highly competitive races in Europe and the United States. These unique races give our athletes the chance to become European or American champions in their Age Group while representing their country.

Unlike the WC, the two Open Championships do not require qualification to participate and are open to all our athletes. Additionally, all athletes in the Open Weights Divisions will compete.

This means: all athletes participating in the OPEN Championships compete in the OPEN Weights Division. All qualified athletes competing in the World Championships compete in the Pro Weights Divisions, except for Mixed Doubles and athletes aged 60 or older (they race with Open

Throughout the season, the world’s best athletes aim to secure a spot in the top 15 fastest times (men and women) to qualify for the elite race on television during the HYROX World Championships for a prize pool of $150,000. This is truly HYROX racing at its peak. How do you rank in the world?
