We got very few icon submissions for Week 4 so we're extending it another week. Please submit or we will be very sad ;-; The extension is until this upcoming Sunday at midnight EST [the usual.]

In other news, banners for week 3 have been completed by our lovely new mod, noakun. This is her first time making banners and they look amaaazing ^-^

Okay everybody! I thought I'd make my first post here somewhat useful so here's your reminder: icons are due in Sunday midnight (EST)! It's great that everyone is voting heaps when voting time does roll around but there's not nearly enough icon entries and we need more, of course, otherwise we can't really call this a contest. XD

So. Get cracking and make us some icon!

First of all, thank you to everyone who's submitted a message to me with their interest in helping us mod. Unfortunately, we're only looking for one person, but you are all incredible! <3 The person I'd like to ask to assist is noakun, so when you see this, leave me a note so I know you have and I'll get you an email with more precise duties, as well as fixing the comm so you can mod.


Anyway, on to the good stuff!!

Hey guys,

     You've probably noticed that we didn't start a new competition yet this week. Although there were a few reasons behind this, there is one very pressing one that I have to deal with immediately if we want this community to continue to function. As some of you may know, if you are on either Shiz or my friend lists, we are both very busy women. Shiz is kept quite busy by schooland myself, well, last year of college + working up to five shifts a week + volunteering = not a heck of a lot of time for anything. Admittedly, this is something I should have thought of before re-opening the community, but I was too caught up in the excitement of having something new to play with.

     ANYWAY. Cutting to the chase, we're looking for a third mod for the community. So if you know a little basic HTML, know how to use LJ tags, and are interested, please talk to me. (Here, or email.) I will look at everyone who leaves me a message and let everyone know who the new mod is when I post our next competition on Wednesday.


     Thanks for taking the time to read this, guys, and we'll get back to our regularly scheduled gakuhainess shortly!!

Ok, this week's still a little bit shaky, and I haven't been around to poke people, really, but I'll be sure to post reminders in future. :P Go. Vote. Make me happy. I'll get the banners up for week 1 when we post these ones, just because I feel silly posting them now. (I already feel silly that I've put them off this long. Sorry guys, life just has not been great for me of late. Things have not been getting done.)
