The Hercules, Xena and Young Hercules Fan Fiction Challenge

We've been talking about doing some kind of Hercules/Xena-specific challenge to coincide with the Yuletide small fandom challenge, but until then, how about a Halloween challenge? Stories involving ghosts, or generally scary stories, any length, any rating, gen, het, or slash. To end on October 31.

Technically, this is the end of the "Outside Observer" challenge, but since today is a holiday for the US and Friday was a holiday for Canada, and a lot of people are out of town or busy this weekend, I for one won't mind if you go ahead and post late entries that weren't quite done on time.

The new challenge was suggested by spikeface and is "Unlikely Alliances." Again, responses can be any rating, any length, any genre (gen, het, or slash). And we're following the trend and going for two week challenges now, so you have two weeks to respond.
