Has anyone ever watched a film called, "Withnail and I." I had to watch it in a lecture last week. It has Richard E. Grant in it from his early days when he was desperate to play any role, but it also has Richard Griffiths in it. (Uncle Vernon).
Well, the point of this post really is that... I've read a few R rated fanfics where Harry is sexually abused by Vernon... I used to think it was a bit sick actually to imagine that, and just couldn't picture Vernon doing that ... well! now I've watched that film, I can completely imagine Vernon doing that and more and I was actually cringing in the lecture hall whilst watching it... so for those of you who have watches it / are willing to watch it, what d'you think, ...Gah! *cringes*
Just so you know what I'm talking about...
Richard Griffiths(sp?), plays a homosexual, slightly insane uncle and tries to come on rather strongly to the character "& I"... who isn't gay and his friend puts him in that situation by insinuating that he is gay and might be "up for it" with the uncle *cringe*
Anyone, who is bored or stuck for ideas for a story this might just be the answer to your prayers.
The rules are as follows:
1. Take the nearest five thick books. If you don't have five thick books near you, go to the bookshelf. If you're too lazy to do that, use fewer than five.
1a. None of the Harry Potter books are allowed, however. Anyone doing that will have a week's detention with Snape, and it won't be that sort of detention. It will involve scrubbing cauldrons and pickling pig foetuses.
2. Turn to page 394.
3. Take the second sentence on that page of each book.
4. Arrange the sentences to form as coherent a story as possible.

I'll answer this in a comment later on, but I personally loved it as a film, but was slightly annoyed if comparing it to the book - but possibly the best film yet in my opinion.
