Come and meet LJ friend sunnythirty3  from New Zealand, who is also a regular on TPP/WIKTT Chat on Chatzy Friday and Saturdays.  She was at Azkartraz and will be going home shortly.

The New Zealand contingent at Azkatraz, well part of them, will be stopping off in Dallas TX.  I am trying to pull some sort of dinner arrangement for  Thursday, August 6th in the evening.   I am figuring around 7PM.   I don't have a place selected, but it will probably be 75 corridor (Plano/Richardson/Allen/McKinney) areas. 

Places to meet that can offer a variety of items is The Cheesecake Factory.

I will be able to go to Azkatraz if I can get roommates to share the cost of the hotel. Are any of you going and interested in sharing a room? I'm clean and quiet...years of sharing rooms at conventions have taught me to be a good roommate.

So for all you Cedric fans, and all you Twilight lovers, Robert Pattinson is apparently making an appearance at a Dallas Hot Topic on November 11th.  Just thought I'd let y'all know!  No details yet, but keep checking hottopic.com.  It might be fun to get a group together to go meet Cedric, although he'd prolly hate that. XD

Hello Everyone! I saw pics of the halloween party it looked like a great time. thanx Jen for teaching my dad how to use flikr. I have been busy as of late, but if any of you are going to that Yule Ball in Houston I'll be seeing you there.


I made this for my dad's bday which was back in Sept. but it took me forever to make the painting, because I was scared to try and draw the HP characters since I never have before. I know its kind of an amature painting, but I think my dad will like it since he is such a snape fan.

No spoilers but its from my favorite part of The Deathly Hallows which is also my favorite book. If you have read it then you will probably see what is going on in the painting. If not I'll just say that these are his thoughts and he is pulling them out with the wand.

Anyway thought you guys might like to see my fan art. If any of you other fans out there in the group have some you should post or send me a not about it. I love to look at fanart :-D

I wasn't sure if anyone had or knew people with sugargliders, but my friend Terry runs sugarglider.com and has worked with an artist to make this really nice hardwood sugarglider ornament that was laser etched and matches the original artwork.

Just thought I'd drop a mention of the upcoming literary science fiction and fantasy convention Fencon happening next weekend in Addison. It's a more general interest convention than events like Portus, but there is alot going on all weekend. Between the filk perfomances, the masquerade, and the numerous authrs attending you're sure to find something to pique your interest. Plus it's all for a good cause! Fencon's charity this year is Reading and Radio Resource a non profit 510(c) agency that provides reading alternatives to the visually or physically disabled and/or learning differenced. So come on ou, it'll be a great weekend.

Hello All!

My father and I attended dragon con this year and it was our first time. We had an amazingly wonderful trip! For those of you who could not be there. I uploaded some pictures from our trip and there are a lot of pics with my dad as snape in the parade along with some fantastic hp cosplayers. Also there are some pics from the Yule Ball. Be sure to keep your eye out for the awesome mad eye moody! <--chuckle

Also My fiancee and I caught Matthew Lewis aka Neville Longbottom running around late saturday night and snagged a pic with him. I didn't upload it to my main gallery so I'll show you guys. I attended a panel that was entitled "Meet the Stars of Harry Potter" where Matthew Lewis was speaking. It was a great panel and hopefully I'll be able to upload it on to youtube so you guys can see. This is a maybe because our camera was old and I'm not sure what the quality will look like after transfer.
