This community was created for the purpose of broadening Harry Potter fanfic writing skill by responding to our weekly challenges.
The Rules
+ No drabbles may be over R in rating (no NC-17 fics).
+ If a drabble is rated R, please put it behind a cut and mark it as being R rated always.
+ All drabbles submitted must be 500 words or less.
+ No more than one submission per week.
+ Please make all efforts to have correct grammar, spelling, canon, etc. in submissions before you post. If it's completely unreadable and filled with netspeak, there's a darn good chance it will be pulled.
+ Any pairings are welcome to the challenge, but we do have a few ground rules regarding ships:
* No adult/child. This is illegal, guys, so let's not fic about it here. Example: Remus and Hermione decide to hook up while she is below the age of 18.
* No beastality. Example: Harry goes out with Crookshanks and decides to have his baby.
* No incest. This includes ships such as Fred/George, Ron/Ginny, Sirius/Narcissa, etc. If they're family, please don't ship them here.
+ Flaming will not be tolerated in this community. If you don't have anything nice to say, then keep your biting comments to yourself.
If any posts do not comply with the rules they can be taken down and appropriate action will be taken.
How the Challenges Work
Every week -- starting on Sunday -- a new challenge will be announced. The challenge may be a word, a phrase, a song lyric, or maybe even a picture. There's just no telling what to expect! Members have until the following Saturday to post their submissions (no more than one submission per person every week).
PLEASE remember that this is a community that depends on feedback for other people's fanfic. Shining praise and constructive criticism is valuable to any writer!
