Harry Potter

foreshadowing...

So I reread Half-Blood Prince on Thursday/Friday in anticipation for Deathly Hallows on Saturday, and one piece of foreshadowing stuck with me.

When Dumbledore come to pick Harry up at the Dursley's, he says to Petunia, "We have, of course, corresponded."

Harry thinks it odd that he'd say that in reference to sending her a Howler, but I think he was referring to "Tuney" writing him and requesting to be let into Hogwarts, even though she was a muggle.

Anyone else go back and read any of the books and notice things they missed the first time or two (or three or...) around?

One of the things I liked best about book 7 was the way some of the minor characters got more fully rounded out, like the Dursleys (well, 2 of the 3 of them), and Kreacher the house elf.

I think I may reread 7 in the evenings this week.
