The HPIA's

Dearest hp_awards members,

After nearly a year, I am sad to say that I no longer have the time & energy to devote to hp_awards. And despite interest waning across livejournal, I have truly enjoyed this community and I hope that it continues on!

With that being said, we are in need of a new moderator. If you are interested, please comment to this post and include any previous mod experience you may have. Generally, the responsibilities include posting the voting at the beginning of the month, the results a few days later, and soliciting new nominations when needed. Nearly everyone who nominates follows the rules, but it is always a good idea to keep an eye on that aspect as well. You'd also be in charge of maintaining the community's photobucket account that showcases past winners.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the specifics of running hp_awards and I'll be happy to answer. Until then, the community will be on temporary hiatus.
