From the Mountains of Tennessee to the wonderful arms of a girl...

Well I guess maybe i should talk about the vacation I took last week. On April 1st, me n my good friend Justin set out on our adventure to Tennessee/North Carolina. We took off school and we had departed Highland at about 9 am. Our destination for that nite was Mason, OH - about 25-30 miles north of Cincinatti. We arrived around 3:15 and then went to my cousin's baseball game. Of course, we froze cause it was raining and extremely windy. Then we went back to my cousin's house and had some pizza. We then went downstairs and watched some concerts on a 106" HDTV projection screen. Out of this world... their basement is soundproof too so we had it blasting. Then my cousin and I cracked out the vodka and I took 5 shots in a row and felt pretty good and took a few more later. Then we fell asleep. The next morning, Alex's baseball game had gotten cancelled because of the wind and rain. We went out to waffle house and had some breakfast and then after dropping Alex off at his house, I packed my car and said goodbye to my family as it was time to leave. We set out at about 10:30 or 11 for North Carolina. We had about 450 miles to the hotel. We arrived around 7 or 8 o clock that evening. The drive was amazing, as soon as we hit Tennessee we hit a mountain. The Appalachians are absolutely breath taking. We got to our hotel and the front desk lady couldnt understand me because of my "accent." I thought that was interesting. Then i busted out some beers in my room and then we went over to the restaurant next door. The servers were comprised of beautiful southern girls with the most amazing accents. Then justin and i went down this random highway through this remote NC town. It was very old and it seemed to be taken out of a painting. We parked and walked for a little while and walked past this bar. One thing in the south is that the people seem very nice. People do not hesitate to say "hi." Then we went back to the hotel and i drank some beers nad went to sleep. The next day was race day at Bristol Motor Speedway... what a rush. The rush first started on the drive there... we hit a 5500 ft peak in the Appalachians and coming around this bend, we hit this spot of snow. The only snow the entire trip and i didnt see it coming. By this time, i was going at least 80 on a decline when i was barreling towards this slush/ice mixture ont he road. I hit that and started spinning which would have resulted in almost imminent death since i was right next to the guardrail and there was nothing past that besdies the ground thousands of feet below. I used my NASCAR skills and didnt panic and drove it out of the slide. I slid all the way across the NC/TN border! As of hte rest of the day, it was out of this world, as if the rest of the trip did not take place in what seems a surreal utopia. The race was AMAZING but i could write a book on that. On the way home, justin and i went through a cruise through Virginia. After that, Justin and I had no idea what we were going to do about lodging so we went with the flow and how we felt. We ended up just driving the 16 hours straight through. It is about 800 miles from the track to my house. We started driving around 5pm and got home at around 11AM the next day. LONG LONG drive but that was absolutely amazing. All in all, the whole trip only lasted a weekend but i felt more relaxed than I would have after a 2 week vacation. O ya and tomorrow morning, I am going to amandas. I am so excited. I am glad i got myself out of the non stop pain that Megan caused me. Do you have any idea what it is like to be ignored completely? To have your cries for a listening ear be blown off by harsh ridicule? I still want to be her friend though... But I am happy with where I am at right now. I am glad that i got my pain behind me for the most part although i still see a ton of things that reminds me of her. Well im going to go, my aunt from Australia is begging me for the computer. lol bye

Bad things always turn good...

I guess Megan decided to just completely play with my heart for the past couple of months, but I guess in the end it turned out to be ok. I have known this girl Laura from Portage for several years now. She is 22 and has a sister that is a junior at Portage. Laura finally introduced us last week and we instantly clicked. I took her out to a game of Mini-golf at Schererville Golf Center, then we went to Oberweis Dairy for some ice cream. It was a really good night to be with her. She is a really down to earth person and we can have a very good intelligient conversation about almost anything. She is also coming to my prom. I am playing a little game of "hard to get" though, but its actually kind of fun. She probably cannot say the same :) but it is fun to turn the tables for once. I do not have any negative feelings toward Megan and i wish she would say the same but if she is going to move forward then i will and I have. Amanda is amazing and she struck me the second we met. She also listens to the music I listen to which is a major plus. It only gets better but I will leave the rest for you to guess...

RAM question

Ok... here is my newest question on opinion. I am stuck between choosing between the Crucial Ballistix PC4000 Tracer RAM (512) {2.5-4-4-8 but many review sites claim it to have a default of 2.5-3-3-8), or Corsair XMS 3200XL Pro (2-2-2-5) I will be running this on an AMD 64 3500+ through an Asus A8V Deluxe. PCStats.com was the only site to run them side by side http://www.pcstats.com/articleview…, and they both receive awards from many places... the Tracers overclock better but im not hardcore into overclocking. The Tracers are about 10$ more too, but they are more attractive. But money and looks aside, what would you do?
