The vast majority of cattle in the world are born with one face each. However, since so many cattle are bred every year, every once in a while a calf is born with two. In fact, so many cattle and pigs are born with facial deformities that it’s almost not news any more–plus it’s sad that so many of them die early.
Recently, Lucky the calf made headlines for supposedly being the first calf to live past 40 days with the condition of diprosopus. However, Lucky is not the first! Consider the illustrious Dolly, who toured as an oddity and lived to 13 years old!
