Feel free to skip this while you are waiting for my other 5 million promised entries, shitty day, can't sleep, waiting for painkillers to kick in.
For a while now, a gifset of Robert Downey Jr. at the Actor's Studio has been around on tumblr, where they basically do a meme with him.
I really liked the questions, so I answered them myself.

1) What is your favourite word?
Fingertips.

2) What turns you on?
An honest smile directed at me.

3) What turns you off?
Dilly-dallying.

4) What sound or noise do you love?
Wind in the trees. It doesn't work with one tree, t has to be a lot of them.

5) What sound or noise do you hate?
Bones crunching.

6) What is your favourite curseword?
Twatman.

7) What profession would you like to attempt?
Event manager.

8) What profession would you not like to participate in?
I couldn't be a carpenter. I would do things over a hundred times, and I#d still be pretty shitty.

9) If heaven exists, what would you like God to say to you when you arrive at the gates?

I'm leaving for Kyoto on Monday afternoon, and I am really queasy. I wish I was as cool as most people and I'd be happy and nothing else, but the thing is that recently I have felt rather lonely... I just wonder if all those social contacts I had back in Manchester are actually going to meet with em and visit me etc. like they promised, because right now I fear they won't.

My suitcase has been packed for about... a week? with various things added and then taken from it. The final version has now ended up at 24kg. I had my baggage upgraded to 30kg just in case I actually manage to stuff more in than the allowed 23, so it's okay. I actually wanted to post this on my travel blog but LJ is being as uncooperative as ever. Or it was, and now I don't feel like it anymore.

I wonder if it's just my feeling that loads of people are leaving LJ these days.
It is still my favourite actual source of blogging - blogging when all people really do on tumblr is post pics feels weird, and I just am the Honey and this has been my place for six years now, it's as simple as that.

My mum bought me a kindle! In exchange for no more Christmas presents this year. I think I can deal, but mainly because I sobbed myself silly at how many unread books I couldn't stuff in the suitcase and how difficult it was to get books in Japan. I have fought the war for the printed book, but... my life is turning into a conglomerate of practical things now.

While I was copying the video links from metacafe for the top fives, I found this video with Kenneth Branagh, Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth. Oh god, I wanna throttle the interviewer, but it speaks so much for all three of these long-suffering men how amazing they are at handling her. HIDDLES *__*

Speaking about videos, a very kind person has uploaded the Hawaii Five-O DVD gag reel. Utter professionals. All of them. XD

I have spent the last few days together with goblinbrodie, and after she left I, even though I have no idea how she feels about having met me, promised myself to meet her again somehow even though she lives on the other side of the world.
On my side that's a promise&hearts

These past week so many things have happened that my world seemed to turn twice as fast, and I said to goblin that it would feel weird for things just to go back to everyday life, so it was only logical that mere hours after she was gone I ended up in hospital.
I spent the whole day there being poked with needles and trying to sleep, so now that I'm back home I'm wide awake. I'm off sick until Monday and I hope that's that.

I did a small f-list cut and I started deleting various old LJ entries.
I know it might be a childish thing to do because just deleting the entries about it doesn't change the facts, but I don't know how I feel about myself at the moment - so everyone that has been defriended, I'm actually sorry, but this is me trying to sort out my life, somehow?

Last but not least, even though it might not fit the tone of this entry at all:

The Hypothetical AU Meme: Take any one of the fandoms you know I write in (or think I should), and give me a type of AU (space opera AU, pirate AU, superhero AU, Ancient Rome, etc). I will then explain what story from your chosen fandom I would write for your chosen type of AU.
