Had a dream about DS9 and there had been some kind of incident where a Changeling had been discovered in Quark's and around the same time a Bajoran kid had suffered an anaphylactic reaction while eating a new lemon flavored spice pudding. there was no actual correlation but this led to a B plot where there was general hysteria about "Changeling allergies" and Sisko was trying to push back against it after hearing rhetoric flying around like "Changelings are willfully risking human and Bajoran lives just by being present on the station, since their presence poses a deadly allergen threat to an unknown number of people." all of which was mostly directed at Odo of course as the only permanent known Changeling presence on the station. and there's certainly something Star Trek-like about such a plot, about how misinformation surrounding legitimate fears can so easily become a witch hunt targeting those who are already vulnerable, but also I'm cackling at the image of Quark gleefully putting up posters like
