New Potions feature!!!

As you know, I have a count that shows on the Potions community user info (potions_dungeon) of the points every house earns during the year. Starting 2006, a POTIONS AWARDS will be available to you! The house that earns the most points in my class in 2006 will get a nifty POTIONS AWARD 2006 banner for their house user info. :) Some points will be awarded along with the award.

I strongly encourage other teachers to do it as well.

The next Potions lesson has been posted! Since Valentine's Day just passed, I decided to make a lesson about Love Potions. There is not much homework - only 3 questions - but they can bring you 15 points closer to the house cup, and we know that in the long run every point counts.

I only have about 4 Gryffindors and 5 Slytherins in my class, which is not much compared to Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs. I would recommend that all Gryffindors and Slytherins do their homework, and more peope from those houses join. I feel bad giving one house 100 points and another 10.

Since Potions is opened again, I'm welcoming all new members - it's a fun and interesting course, even if I am a female re-creation of Snape dear. Go to potions_dungeon to join, and READ the User Info to know how!

I have been a very bad person - I haven't updated my classes for months. Probably most of you don't even know that I got appointed your DADA teacher. So to hell with it all - back to school, shall we?

If anybody wants to sign up for Potions, go to potions_dungeon and READ the User Info, for it will tell you how. The next lesson will be posted within 24 hours.

If you would like to sign up for a whole new Defense Against The Dark Arts class (which you should, because it's easy and you get points), I will post a form within the next 24 hours.

I have posted up the first exam for History of Magic, if you my student and you have handed in at least on assignment (all of my students but one) you may do the exam. All answers are found in the lessons. Consider this a "Open Book Exam" it should be really easy especially if you keep all your assignments.

Ok, someone was browsing the interest lists of LJ today and saw that the top spot on the interests was music. All well and good - but lets face it - dull as shite, right? So in their infinite wisdom they have decided to try to alter this sad state of affairs. To this end we need your help - thats right, yours! A phrase has been found that was not on anyone's interest list (although by now it has quite a few adherents), and I have added it to mine. I expect everyone on my friends list to add it to theirs. I also expect you to ask your friends to do the same. As such a wave of this interest will sweep out and, hopefully, conquer livejournal! The goat is gonna get it!
