Seize the Night.

For years terror and death plagued the United States. A legion of dark wizards, aligned to the most evil of witches wreaked havoc on their world. Sadistic and ruthless, they ruled the Wizarding community with an iron fist and even struck fear into the hearts of some Muggles. A valiant fight from brave witches and wizards brought about her end but some wait in the shadows for her return. Ten years later, the death of Lady Nyx and the imprisonment and vanishing of many of her followers is but a history lesson to the students of Hogwarts. The world is finally at peace and a new set of students venture through those hallowed halls. A new group of students have enters Hogwarts, new cliques, new relationships and of course, new drama. Can they keep it together long enough to survive, not to mention the oncoming darkness drawing ever closer? Will you seize the night? Apply for a wizard or witch and enter the world of wizards, witches, spells and songs. Original characters are welcome and encouraged. The game started May 16, 2012. There are no holds on played bys, so get in those applications! The game started out as a Glee AU but now has changed it to a multi fandom game.

If you love Harry Potter and are looking for a fun, interactive community to join, hogwarts_elite is for you. hogwarts_elite is a sorting community, but unlike other sorting communities, you don't get stamped and leave. Once you are sorted, you'll be able to work with your house to compete for the House Cup. There are weekly contests (graphics making, art, fanfic, and others like bingo, trivia, and caption-this-picture), including quidditch matches. There are also discussions (on-topic about the Harry Potter universe and off-topic about whatever you can think of), movie nights, and aim chats. We even have our own Hogsmeade Weekend!

Don't let the "elite" part of the name scare you off! Everyone at hogwarts_elite is really friendly and welcoming. The only thing elite about the comm is the level of respect within the community among its members. Everyone is friendly, and genuinely excited to interact with everyone else. potterclippings is seeking submissions!

potterclippings is a new community dedicated to the collecting and archiving of Harry Potter related ephemera. We are primarily interested in newspaper and magazine articles, but also include movie ticket stubs, pamphlets, bookmarks and postcards in the archive.

Do you have a collection of Harry Potter articles and ephemera? We accept submissions of scans and GOOD QUALITY photos to add to the archive. Sorry, but we DO NOT accept fan art, fic, icons, advertisements or other graphics in this community.

I'm currently selling a very rare Gund Dobby plush from 2003 on eBay. This little guy has bendable arms, legs, and ears, and is super cute, a throwback to the Dobby sketch from The Chamber of Secrets rather than the movie version.

Last night I had some time to myself, and while I used it as I should - I painted, I decided not to work on the next Oz painting (which is all ready to go and what I was planning on doing) but rather a little something just for me.

I had recently decided I wanted to use this vignette drawing for the illustration that’ll go on the slipcase. And with the free time I had, I thought I’d be able to do it in the night... and I was!

Not much to say about it... I’m happy with it. The green of the leaves and Dobby’s eyes, will go great with the new green motif the book will have going for it, which will make more sense once I’ve finished the new cover painting, which will likely be the painting after the next... or at the very latest after the one after that!
