This means you must be a sorted member of  hogwartsishome and a member of your common room!Hogsmeade is a place for the students and staff of Hogwarts is Home to roam free and have a bit of fun. Post quizzes, memes, surveys, chat threads -- whatever tickles your fancy! Mingle with your fellow students, make the most of your weekend -- but remember! It isn't all fun and games in Hogsmeade Village! Keep an eye open for special Hogsmeade activities that can earn your House major points! By participating in a set number of the official points-earning activities each Hogsmeade weekend, you will earn a bonus of 20 points for your house and 10 knuts for yourself!! You can also earn exclusive banners by doing even more of the activities! So go have a blast, and be sure to take your own mug into the Hog's Head. Please be sure to sign each post/comment with your name/house. It makes it so much easier to get to know each other. All general rules may be found at hogwartsishome within the user info and FAQ.1. Naturally, only members of hogwartsishome may join, post, and comment here.2. You may only post during specified weekends. Moderated posting is in place at all times except the specified weekends. 3. Be courteous and follow the rules. Sure, Draco and Harry got into it in Hogsmeade, but there were also no teachers around to catch them. I.E., if we see you being nasty, or breaking the rules you will be sent back to Hogwarts! 4. If you wish to run a points earning activity at Hogsmeade, you must run it by the Hogsmeade Mayors and get approval from the HiH Mods. 5. All points earning activities must use the "official points earning activity" tag and must also have "Oficial Points Activity" within the subject line. 6. All posts must give specific deadlines including the exact time in UTC. You may give your local time zone as well if you like, but UTC is required. 7. Participate! Have fun! 8. When posting graphics: a) No more than three icons or two larger images outside of a cut. Everything else must go underneath an lj cut. b) Nothing over 400x400.
