Hey, all. Once in a while I get the urge to dive back into the internet, so I suppose this is the product of that. I'm pretty much a geek and have been one since before it was cool. My hobbies include writing, drawing, listening to music and reading. See? Geek. I'm obsessed with J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord Of The Rings books to the point of not being able to function properly in the real world because my mind is in Hobbiton, Minas Tirith or Fangorn. Oddly enough, when it comes to fantasy, I'm not a huge fan. The only other books that I read which could be catagorized as "fantasy" is the Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter. Hmm...how funny that all of those are made up of multiple volumes and have been translated into film. But I digress.
I'm not always reading. I do like listening to music (however, I cannot listen to music and read at the same time). And while I do love bands like Franz Ferdinand, Remy Zero, The Clash, The Talking Heads, Adam Ant (guilty pleasure), etc. My real passion is 60s and 70s folk and rock, the standouts being Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and The Beatles. I think one of the sungle greatest moments of my life was seeing Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel on their reunion tour. And not just once, but twice! I also like classical music, which I'm sure most of you are rolling your eyes at right now ^_~.
Some of my other interests are art (which I am okay at but am still leaps and bounds behind a lot of other internet artists), writing stories (both my own and fanfiction) and playing video games (what did I tell you? Geek.)
