Been stressing out this week with classes but everything went better than expected. Stew talked me into photography 101 with him. Had sweet lemon cake pops at Starbucks..those are soo good! ummm..had a school movie fest over at Stew's flat over the weekend..tonz of Freaks n Geeks marathon with vegan brownies, Pretty In Pink, Breakfast Club, Teachers, Go Ask Alice, Welcome to the Dollhouse..

Finally finished reading Rookie Mag..there was a huge section on Street Harassment & how every girl will experience this in their lifetime. I've experienced it several times & still experiencing it! It just makes my self-esteem go down to a big ZERO. I felt comfort in reading so many stories on this & made me feel that i'm not alone.

I'm totally anxious for classes to start again next week but i don't want to get back into that whole routine if it makes any sense. It's coz i feel afraid sometimes. It's just weird. I found a few inspirational school photos. Doncha just hate that portentous feeling?

Art In the Park Festival was fun with friends over the weekend..Outfit: top: thrifted, 1960s mini-skirt: Goodwill, red tights: Target, white mary-janes: thrifted.

Sunday was spent painting outside in the back patio..Victorian Lady Belle..today i will try to finish it.


I made orange pork stir-fry with chinese noodles last night..super-yummy!!!

I want to talk about the Lana Del Rey Greatest Story Ever Told film which i can't believe i paid $6.78 + tax to rent out of the video shop thinking it will be like the Katy Perry film which was good..i thought it would have stories of her youth growing up, her fashion sense, ummm..& YEAH the music!!!! The documentary actually was only 30 minutes long & it featured 2 of her youtube interviews, the second was absolute crap coz the camera kept moving & cutting off her head, it was almost like a prank! Very annoying!! And when they showed a few seconds of her on stage, the sound was mute, you couldn't hear her performing at all! No music, no nothing. Please if you are a huge fan of hers like me, do not see this film..AVOID AVOID AVOID!

We went to the square where there are boutiques all around..mostly bargain warehouse prices or outlets of designer shops like Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Reebok, etc..i got a POW t-shirt from Urban Planet for $6.00..i was super thrilled to find one coz i've been wanting a cartoon top for a while & the KAPOW & POW stuff is the latest craze now..i usually don't follow trends but this is comic strip fun! There was a shop there called Escada..now i thought its full of their perfumes, but the weirdest thing of all is that there was clothing inside & WHOOOOAAAAAA!! that place had tops for $5,876????? WTF????? i picked up a fugly bulky looking belt which had a price of $1,200..who the hell would pay that much for a lousy looking belt?? CRAAAAZY!! There was a tacky dress for $8,999..umm..thats like the price of a cruise ship ticket! This place was a fuckin' joke! it was right beside a shop that sold t-shirts for $5 bucks! This ritzy Hollywood Boulevard shop was right smack in the middle of bargain city..how freakin' weird is that? And we also cracked up about the fact that you can purchase an Escada perfume for $40.oo..cheap perfume, yet the clothing is like Buckingham Palace prices! I couldn't give a shite if their clothes is made in Italy or not, its a rip-off!! The colours were horrid & the patterns were tacky & they were also selling plain looking t-shirts which looked like you can get in Goodwill, selling for $135.00!! I do like Escada's cherry scented perfume though which is affordable in a fair way, but even if i would be a zillionaire, i still would'nt want any of their clothing or shoes..fugly shoes for $6,778! UGH!! Even Versace wasn't THAT expensive when we went to Montreal & looked through that shop.

I'm in love with my vintage Adidas sneakers from Goodwill for $6! They are super-SUPER-comfy!! This is gonna be a jiffy post..i have soo much to do & my grandma is here..YIPEEEE!!

Dick is a GROOVY film!!! You can actually view the whole film online. I got halfway through it & i had to go do something important..darn! It takes place in the 70s during Nixon & the Watergate scandal. It's a fun film!! i wanna learn how to make Hello Dollies!

This summer i'm gonna live off of popsicles & rootbeer floats!
