Urgh

I'm a bit hungover this morning but I had SO much fun last night. The meal was lovely and much wine was quaffed. At the end we had Greek dancing including plate smashing. No one else on our table wanted to do it so me, fuelled by wine, had a go on my own. It was fun! Then there was a disco and Jacqui and I were the only ones from our table who danced. I didn't care though. I was having fun. Everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves too so all was well

Here we all are

For those of you who were asking, here's a discription of all our events as best as I can remember them

Discus - Throwing a paper plate down the office
Shott Putt - Throwing a Christmas decoration down the office
Hammer - Throwing a blow up hammer down the office
Javelin - Throwing some stuck together drinking straws down the office
100m - Sit on your chair and wheel yourself up and down the office as fast as possible
Archery - Firing magnetic darts at a board
Shooting - Hit a target using a BB gun
Basketball - Throw a ping pong ball into a mug which we stuck to the wall
Tennis - Ping Pong on one of the desks
Golf - Ok, not an Olympic event but we needed one more and were out of ideas. This was a putting competition from one end of the office to the other

Mmm...

Watched Quills tonight. It's one of those films that I've been meaning to watch for a long time. I really enjoyed it, even if it wasn't entirely historically accurate. The cast was fantastic! Geoffy Rush (never seen him in a bad film), Kate Winslet (I wanted to look like her when I was younger), Joaquin Phoenix (Yum! Also a bloody good actor) and Michael Cain (fantastic as a bad guy!)

All in all a thouroughly good fim.

One of the special features amused me though. They were comparing fact with the film and the man Joaquin plays was a 4' tall hunchback in real life. I guess they thought the scar on Joaquin's upper lip was enough of a deformity ;)
