I know I need to phone BT and Wanadoo today to sort out this broadband but in all honesty the whole fiasco yesterday has left me feeling drained. I really don't have the energy to phone people up and shout at them this morning. Maybe I'll perk up later :-S
Guess what! My modem arrived today! WHEE! About fucking time!I phoned up to query the problem with the phone line which resulted in me asking to cancel with them. Spoke to a LOVELY man in the cancellation department who actually explained to me what had happened. Apparently some arse in their IT dept had set the computer to send out modems 6 weeks after they were ordered. Apparently this was to get rid of their backlog and the man has since been fired because he didn't actually tell anyone he'd done this
So, in short, modem is here and connection will be activated on Tuesday. I'm still going to write to them and complain but I will mention the nice man I spoke to today. Wish I'd got his name.
Tonight I had my first ever curry. I'm not a big fan of spicy food so I generally avoid Indian restaurants. Tonight, however, I had a Korma and it was really tasty. Not spicy at all. YAY!
We then spend most of the evening playing with Greg's I-Toy. VERY fun and VERY silly. Most enjoyable evening :)
