I dunno what's up with me, joining the Camp Hilltop Facebook group and the Camp Hilltop LJ group. Whatevs.

Rachel M-W here. Camper 95-99, counselor 2002. The Youngs were pretty much the worst employers ever, and pretty much evil. And... I remember all the lyrics to all the camp songs I've ever heard. I'm not lying. Ask me if you ever forget any.

Recently engaged to fellow former counselor Andrew (of 2002 fame). I can't believe Big Country's still a counselor there. He's become the new Bob. Everyone here remember Bob? (One word: MOO.)

The reunion was yesterday..it was, at least for me, for lack of a better word, weird. I went i guess because it would have been a shame not too (it was my last one, ive been through the cit ordeal) i was just shocked at how uncomforting it was this year. Jackie B (for those of you who had her/knew her) explained it as "why wouldnt this reunion be different and weiird, everything this summer has been different and weird" i dont know whose in this community, past hilltopians or people still going there but if youve already done the whole cit thing was your experience as uncomforting?? i guess it was closure to an era. By the way, bill and kathy bought a new boat (melissa picked out the colors, its red white and blue) and they're redoing the water front, the tarpy material is going allll throughout the swimming area and erven into the real lake so they'll be NO SNAKES! good bye sid and friends. and Becky is getting married to the cowboy on september 3rd. haha bill loves to tell me random things...oh and on a sadder note, garrett the alpaca i learned at the reunion (from garrett) has been sold. But dont worry, dreamer and sara are still there :-)

in an hour i will be in my car going to hilltop for the very last time and as a CIT.

i'm kinda nervous..

has anyone noticed the difference in the quality of websites between both www.camphilltop.com and www.hilltopalpacas.com?

has anyone also noticed that an alpaca can cost up to thirty grand? that they're selling polo sweaters for 70$ and alpaca fingerpuppets for 3$ each?

plain ol' sillyness, i tell you.

i just got three rolls of film developed the other day and one of them must have been vedy old because within the roll was pictures from the cookies Alexis and I made with the glorious attempt to spell out our names along with Simon's. Yet to our dismay, once the oven was opened what was found were blobs of very tasty sugar cookies.

so it was such a disappoint after all.
