Have A nIce Day

Hello, My name is Jessica. I tend to go by Jess, but friends call me Jess, Jessie, Jessica, and other various nicknames. I majored in Japanese linguistics and am currently seeking employment that has something to do with Japan. Foreign languages fascinate me and Japan, in general, is a country that I love to explore and learn more about. However, I am not a white girl who wishes to be Japanese. I am glad to be who I am, and proud to come from where I am from. Japan is not my home, and never will be. It's just a place I am interested in. If you think I'm anything but what I stated above, don't bother talking to me.

I like to draw and have a very neglected Deviant Art account and LJ art community. Feel free to check them out! I like to sing even if I sound bad. I want to learn how to play the guitar and other musical instruments. My favorite band is X/X Japan. I also like T.M.Revolution, Cobra Starship, and various other bands who can be found in my long interest list. I sometimes go off on random tangents in my journal entries. I occasionally watch anime and Japanese dramas but I don't follow them on a regular basis. I also like to read manga from time to time. I can't always keep up with current developments in the things I like so please don't rely on my journal for breaking news updates.<3 I like Star Wars, good mysteries, cute animals, children, ghost stories, and many other things. I love sweet foods. XD And if there is anything else you want to know, just ask! I am always willing to talk! But please introduce yourself so I know who I am talking to.

I must note I have A LOT of interests, which can't be reflected solely in a list of nouns. You can only really tell what I am into by reading my LJ, or looking at my user icons. But I do warn you, a good deal of my LJ posts are solely day to day activities, the small things in life that make me squee, and sometimes my opinions. But there are fandom rants, or other posts related to the fandoms I sort of take part in, and all entries are tagged for easy navigation.

RULES: You are allowed to post comments on old posts. If you got something to say then say it. Got it? Good! I don't care if you post a comment on something I wrote a year ago - I still like to talk about stuff regardless.

If you've come to start shit with me, you will be banned. Just don't bother. I am not into internet drama, flame wars, or bitch fights. Take your immaturity elsewhere.
