Beautiful! It is nice to get a glimpse at Ioreth as a young woman, and walking among rose beds instead of the beds of the sick is a nice change of scenery for the character. And the rose scent certainly left an impression if it came to mind again so very many years later!
Thank you! I feel I mostly spelled out just a little what seemed to be implied there, but that also seems worth doing, sometimes. And, of course, we do not all read the same. I know the same sentence has suggested a romance to others, which I don't necessarily see.
