hhimringSome people on my f-list have seen this already: it's a cleaned-up version of my essay on Eowyn and Aerin that I posted for the LOTR Community non-fiction challenge some time ago (longer ago than I quite like to think!).
I incorporated some of the very helpful feedback I received at the time and also later, from Dawn and the SWG reference readers.
This is as good as I've been able to make it under present time constraints. (Some of the sketchier bits of discussion that I haven't been able to support fully with references have been sneaked into the footnotes.)

But I hope you find some time to comment on Oshun's bio of Galadriel, because she's put an awful lot of work into that two-parter.

Date: 2018-07-05 10:30 pm (UTC)I'm saving Oshun's bio for the weekend, I've found that if I read the bios during the week I almost always either a) get interrupted, or b) think 'I will write a comment when I have more time/am not about to fall asleep' and then forget that I meant to go back to do that. :)
