Triple H

There are no words right now....

To describe the mixed emotion I have for the news about Chris Benoit and his family.

I never heard my friend cry until this time and it really stirred something sad in me. I was laying Eddie's passing to rest and now...

God...

The only thing I can do to stop feeling like that is to keep talking about it. And now with the latest news, it's just such a lost feeling. Regardless of his personal life, Chris Benoit was an inspiration to a lot of us and I think that the memory we have to try to keep the closest to us.

R.I.P. Chris Benoit

You we're one of the strongest, badass, white knuckle people I have ever seen. One of my goals is life have been to at least amount up to half the endurance and threashold of a man you were.

Triple H at Nashua Pride 5-30-07 - Pics

Well, I was on Ebay (yeah I'm bad - sue me) and came across some auctions for pics of Hunter from yesterday's Nashua Pride appearance. I can't afford the price he is charging but thought I'd share the images he put up. He's got them watermarked (ew) but we can still drool. Hunter's looking mighty fine nowadays.

I put up the link to all the photos if anyone is interested in buying them.

Triple H Surgery Update!

Game under the knife
Written: January 10, 2007Triple H emerged from quadriceps surgery at approximately 7:30 p.m. yesterday in Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Andrews reports that The Game's surgery went well with no complications.

The operation confirmed that the quadriceps tendon was completely torn off the bone and kneecap in his right leg. The tendon was otherwise in good condition and was reattached to the patella.

The Cerebral Assassin was said to be in good spirits all day and looking forward to the recovery process. He told many that he was not nervous about the surgery because he was confident in Dr. Andrews' abilities.

According to Dr. Andrews, Triple H will need four to six months of recovery before returning to in-ring action. He will begin rehabilitation immediately in Alabama for the next three weeks before he returns home to continue with his physical therapy. The current prognosis is that The Game should be walking again in six weeks.

WWE.com has more photos up for those that want to get them.

I'm just glad he is going to be okay.

Oh Dear Christ

Found this on LOP

Tito Ortiz was recently asked in Steppin’ Out Magazine about how a wrestler like Triple H would fare in UFC. Ortiz answered, "I think he would be horrible. He's too stiff and his cardio fitness is horrible. A guy like that isn't an athlete. We're running, lifting, and training every day, not for looks or to show off our bodies, but to fight and last five rounds at full strength".

New Year's Revolution Results from Last Night

Devastation

Earlier in the evening, Team Rated-RKO told Todd Grisham that they were going to put a “painful and definitive end” to D-Generation X. At the end of the night however, it was a completely different story as DX bloodied and battered their cocky opponents, shocking the Kemper Arena crowd en route to an unprecedented devastation of the World Tag Team Champions.

Fighting a personal battle fueled by Rated-RKO’s tasteless and unforgivable actions toward DX’s friend Ric Flair, Triple H and HBK threw out the rulebook, and lived up to their promise to “break bones and rip flesh.”

A potentially serious injury to Triple H couldn’t hold the legendary duo from accomplishing their goal of dismantling their hated rivals. After a brief flurry from the tag champs, DX used a barrage of Pedigrees, Steel Chairs, and a little Sweet Chin Music to incapacitate their opponents. Kansas City’s WWE fans roared in approval as blood leaked like a faucet from the foreheads and faces of Randy Orton and Edge.

In the midst of all the chaos, Referee Marty Elias was caught in the crossfire. While the official word on the result was a no contest, the carnage around the ring and car-crash like imagery made it very clear that the battle, and maybe the war was won by D-Generation X.

NEWS ON TRIPLE H'S INJURY AND STATE OF DX

Source: WrestlingInc.com

Triple H had his leg evaluated in Birmingham, AL today. The diagnosis is quadriceps tear on the opposite leg of his last injury. He will have surgery tomorrow and be out an estimated nine months. It took him eight months to recover from his last quad tear, but the estimated recovery time is nine months. At this point, he will miss WrestleMania which throws WWE's plans into a bit of a mess since a John Cena vs. Triple H WWE Title match was scheduled to headline the show. This also puts the DX angle in a state of confusion, as it seems unlikely WWE would continue it with just Shawn Michaels. Michaels has actually been a bit worn down and in need of time off himself recently, but with Triple H out, he will likely be asked to gut it out and maintain a full time schedule.

THIS GAME IS NOT OVER!!! GET WELL SOON, TRIPLE H!!!
