Question: Would having the Halloween Jack and Jill party on Friday the 27th be completely out of the question? A very good friend of both myself and Ron, Jason, is having his 21st birthday party on the 28th. I only just found out about it… I would feel terrible missing it as he’s been such a good friend and his parents are spending a lot on the party. Dinner, DJ, the works. Apparently, not many people are able to go as it is…So I’ll feel even worse if Ron and I can’t go.
Is there anyway we can do it on a Friday? Ron and I really want to do both and we feel really stressed out at the moment as it seems like we'll have to choose one or the other… The only reason I’m asking if we can change the date of the Jack and Jill party is because Jason’s parents have already made reservations…

Jess, Meg, Kristin, and Connor - I'm not able to go now. There's something up with my car so my dad will be driving me to and from work tomorrow. Obviously this gets in the way of me giving rides and such... I'm really sorry. Just let Connor know because maybe he'll pick you guys up. If you go, have a good time!
I may or may not be able to make the meetings anymore. I've got to work this Wednesday at 12pm, but I'm not sure if I'll be scheduled every Wednesday like that.
Next time I see my boss I'll ask her if I can have 12:30-1:30 or so off every week, but there's no guarantee. I'll be sure to read the minutes every week and keep myself up-to-date, but last week may have been my first and last meeting for the current time-period.
I've got a paper due for Scannell (on Pride and Prejudice, yuck) a week from Tuesday. I want to write it this weekend and get it in to him this Tuesday so he'll review it for me.
Anything I should keep in mind? I've never had him as a professor and he seems the type to be quirky.
What's everyone making for the bake sale, just so we don't end up with too many doubles?
I'm doing chocolate chip cookies, blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, caramel rolls, and maybe a couple loaves of banana bread or a batch of banana muffins - I have lots of overripe bananas in the freezer and need to do something with them.
Well, I've been passively coerced into joining LiveJournal (convinced of course by my own boredom). Not sure if any of you realize who I actually am, so I figure I'll introduce myself.
I'm Ron (yes...Ron...from the Christmas and Halloween parties...). Ash figured I knew most of you (sort of) anyway, so she thought I should join the group. I promise I won't clutter the group with my inanities...those will be reserved strictly for my own Journal entries :).
(oh and on a sidenote: sorry I look so terrible in the pictures from the Halloween party...I think that whole "existing" thing hurts my complexion)
