TMI
One of the accounts that I take calls for is technical PDA support for drug studies. We get calls from the doctor's office staff and patients. Because of HIPPA regulations we are not allowed to know any personal information of the patients.
Well I got a call today from someone in the doctors office. She was having trouble with one of the PDAs. She tells me that the patient is ending the drug study early and she wants to know what to do with the PDA. So I walk her through resetting it so that she can use it for her next patient. Well, while we're waiting for her to upload data from the PDA to the web-server, she just volunteers that the reason her patient is not continuing in the study is because she's pregnant. She then follows up this comment with the fact that her blood test came back positive for cocaine.
