Currently experiencing the unhinged burst of creativity that comes from harrowing things happening to your dnd character.

So Ritz died. It was his Uncle who killed him. And also.... Maybe saved him...? By making sure he wore his Nana's necrotic protection pendant when it happened. He's back (thank god), but he's not the same.

The Mark of Dumaahl is an affliction of the soul: a corruption caused by errant remnants of an ancient amalgamate being composed of (unwilling) souls ripped from the living. As the marked's consciousness drowns in a turbulent sea of residual emotion - fear, anguish, rage - they descend into a primal, reactive state.

While Di teeters on the edge of unleashing terrible devastation, Azukai is determined to bring him back, if he's still in there.

Well hello! I didn't expect that absence. BG3 came out and it turns out that's a darn good game? Anyway, to get back into the swing of things, I decided that, instead of warming up, a full blown illustration would be a great idea! Not only a full blown illustration, but straight into lineart hell, yeah!

Anyway so here's a little personal piece for myself depicting my characters, (corrupted) Di and Azukai. Maybe I passed the point of diminishing returns on this one - spent more time on it than it really needed - but I'm happy with the outcome.

A 4k full-resolution download is available to all supporters on my ko-fi.
