Hey, who here has actually been to Japan. I get to raise my hand. I hung out in Narita for a day a few weeks ago when I was on my way back from Malaysia.
Can anyone here speak Japanese, too? I'm taking a Japanese online course on my own. I read on this website that for me to be fluent in Japanese I have to study for 600 days, 3 hours a day. Isn't that insane? I'm thinking maybe learning French in school. And I want to learn Russian and perhaps some other language for the hell of it.
I'm back home but I can't start my stalking person journal until I'm officially back home, which will be a while, since I'll be between here and San Fransisco for a few weeks. Also I need to find someone to stalk. Maybe I'll become famous then stalk myself and then murder myself even though I was a great person and everybody loved me except the person who murdered me, who was also me, even though I loved me too. o.0;
Since monday I've had to repeatedly explain to my two aunts what Gaia Online is. My aunt that is my dad's sister thought it was a sex site, and my aunt that is my uncle's wife thought it was a major RPing thing. o.0;
See now you've woken me up from my pointless slumber. ...whoever did that...eh...
Anyway..Chi/Liz/Frei/etc. says I'm supposed to talk about anime so ...I have anime.
There. That out of the way, I also have a lovely new lolita dress, leg warmers, and several shoe catalogs coming in. I should be recieving a pair of boots instead of shoe catalogs but seems boots are out of season or something and that's just awful that the season should decide weather or not you can wear boots. Cuz I'd always wear boots if I had more than one pair that fit. *nodnod*
Yay. I just joined this thing. I see it almost never is updated. I will break one in. Just thought it'd be nice, seeing as I'm an otaku with no life. I'm not too much of an otaku, though. I am kind of less interested in some animes, while more interested in others at the same time. I generally hate the kind of animes that I assume most otakus like (ie: what I've seen so far of Neon Genesis Evangelion). And some of the anime titles I own I find very boring and realised I only bought because I thought the girls in it look cute or something. I feel tempted to spend fifty bucks on the Steel Angel collection, and I all I know about it is that the girls are cute and its about robot girls. Most of those maiden animes are boring, or just immature (ie: Chobits, Mahoromatic). Mahormatic is just lame. I didn't crack a chuckle or even a smile throughout the whole first DVD. In fact, I watched it a second time and couldn't get through the second episode, it's so bad. The same happened with Chobits today. I only got to the beginning of the second episode and I got tired of it, even though I let out a chuckle a few times during the first episode. I watched Armitage III last night, and I thought I hated that movie--but now I love it, even though some parts seem to happen to fast. I like Hellsing a lot. I like what I've seen of Texhnolyze so far. I love Serial Experiments: Lain (I got that because I thought Lain looked pretty, but I turned out to really like the series anyway). Serial Experiments: Lain is the only anime I have wear I have all the DVDs. I have this thing with starting to buy an anime series and not being able to finish collecting it. I only have the first three Chobits, first two Texhnolyzes, first Hellsing, first two Neon Genesis Evangelions, first Mahormatic, a few of the Noirs, first three Love Hinas, and there are probably some more but I don't feel like naming. I feel weird admitting that the movie Plastic Little made me teary-eyed at the end. That movie for some reason is good, even though it was only made for the fifteen minutes of nudity. I love Kite. I used to have the edited version but my dad took it away. Now all I have is the hentai version. I like the hentai version, but I can never watch it because watching porno with my mom around is just weird. I also have Twin Angels, another hentai. Pure hentai, actually. Kite has a story to it that's not revolved around sex, for those of you who don't know. Oh, I forgot to mention I have the entire X series and Cowboy Bebop series, except they both burnt to CDs. Bootlegs. Illegal. Um.. I like a lot of the anime features. Akira, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Ninja Scroll. Blah blah. this is really long.
