Divorced gender-confused comic geek who's probably too old for 90% of the Internet geek communities out there. My first comic book was ROM Spaceknight # 14, my earliest memory was of waiting in line to see "Star Wars" (what people nowadays call "Episode 4") at the theater. I'm not a cranky old bastard, though most comic books nowadays, especially those made by DC under Dan Didio's regime (DIDIOOOOOOO!!! *shakes fist up at thundering sky*) tend to piss me off (although as someone who wants to write comics professionally, I should probably stop publicly insulting him, huh?). I'm a big proponent for character diversity of gender, race, and orientation, but I'm aware that some of my older ideals may not hold water today.
