Things I like in ATLA: found family, arranged marriage, missing scenes (especially Ember Island), post-canon, canon divergence, soulmate AU (platonic or romantic), all the cuddling and snuggling, touchy-feeliness, fluff, domesticity, friends to lovers, hurt/comfort, mutual pining, sex with feelings, any of them learning to be soft and vulnerable, finding happiness despite their trauma.

I have not read the comics or seen LoK, but I do enjoy the idea that the Kyoshi Warriors became Zuko's guards.

I love gen for this fandom. Katara & Sokka, Sokka & Zuko, Katara & Zuko, and Toph & Sokka & Suki are a few favorite dynamics that I wish got more content, but anything involving various members of the Gaang is wonderful (especially with Suki because she didn't get as much time with them in canon). I would also love to see Mai and the Gaang (I wish I had thought to nominate that tag!), as a group or individually (the possibilities are SO FUN). Which leads me to...

I also love ships for this fandom! My pet ship is Mai/Sokka/Suki/Zuko. I will actually squeal if somebody makes content for this, since it's such a rare ship. I also love the two canon couples within my OT4, and wish there was more content focused on them. Also happy to read PWP for these ships if you feel like writing it! Or, if you want to do Mai/Zuko & Sokka/Suki all being pals, I'll love that too. I love watching Sokka and Zuko interact, whether it's an adopted brothers AU, friends, or shippy, I will delight in any of it. I definitely headcanon Aang/Katara and enjoy seeing them in fics, I just don't read as much fic that's central to them, perhaps because their canon arc feels so complete.
