Real name vs Alias, which one you choose?

Today, there's a very funny thing happen in my neighborhood. So, one of my internet friends who live near me want to come to my house and play, as well as to copy some of my Arashi files since her internet is not good. I said ok to her and give her my address. Apparently, I forget to give her my real name.

As you all know, Juu is not my real name. It's just a nickname. I got it in 2005, and from the on I've been called Juu. Even if I introduce myself using my real name to the fans I meet in real life, they would still call me Juu. My parents know, fortunately, since when they call my house they won't say my real name, they will say Juu instead. I still remember though the first time my friend called me home.

Friend: Hello? Can I talk to Juu?
Dad: Juu? Huh? Who is that?
Friend: Eh? This is (my address), right?
Dad: That's right. But there's no one with the name Juu here.
Friend: *is confused* But, my friend said she live there and we just met at a gathering...
Dad: Ah, Arashi? Wait. (call my real name), your friend! But she said you're Juu. What kind of nane is that?
Me: LOL-ing. I'll explain later on.

So from then on, all my friends called my home still using the name Juu, even when they come to my house, knocking on the door and my dad/mom greeted them, they would say, "Is Juu at home?" It's so LOL And my dad/mom will say it straightly. "Oh yeah, she's in her room." XDDD

But even if my parents know, my neighbors didn't know. And the friend I'm talking about, who want to come to my house today, kind of lost. Well, my house is located in a very deserted area I guess, so it's hard for her to see the house. And it's small too LOL She really couldn't find my house so she ask one of my neighbors.

Friend: Excuse me. Do you know where Juu's house is?
Neighbor: Juu? Who's that?
Friend: *is shocked* She should live here, house number 4.
Neighbor: Ah, that's the house number 4 *points at my house* but no one name Juu live there.
*fortunately, my mom walk out of the house at that time*
Neighbor: (calling my mom's name), this child is searching for Juu
Mom: Oh, right. She's inside. She's been waiting for you.
Neighbor: *is confused* Someone name Juu live in your house?
Mom: Oh, it's my daughter. You know her.
Neighbor: O.o Her name is not (my real name)?
Mom: *straight face* That's her name. Juu is her other name.

I was LOL-ing so hard when my friend told me the story. It was so funny to me that my neighbors now know my nickname. This is another precious memory that I will forever remember about my nickname~ :D

I graduated today! Yay!

Finally, after the long three and a half year struggling battle, I'm going to graduate today. Though I'm still far from my ideal weight and I'm still just a normal staff in a company, just for today I'll be the prettiest as I'm the main character of today's event. I'm going to laugh and not cry despite everything that happened and that I promised to make this day an unforgettable day for me.

Congrats to me!

IS LONELY AND SAD T__________________T

I'm really really lonely these days T________________T I feel like I've lost contact with all my friends due to my busy work schedule. I rarely get text message from them when usually they would call or text me often just to ask about my condition (they didn't call me or text me anymore because they're afraid they would interrupt me at work >.<). It was so heartbreaking and so lonely. I know that they mean well, but I feel at edge whenever we meet again after a long time and they will talk about something I don't know. It feels like I've been kicked away from the group and was isolated all by myself /cries

So yesterday I turn on my laptop (after I abandon it for so long since I was so busy with work) and go online and see that there are lots of things in this world that I barely know anymore. I ease a little of my loneliness by downloading and watching Arashi. Fortunately, it helps to lift my mood, but after the show ended I become gloomy again T_____T

I do want to work and earn money, but being lonely is not the thing I want. Now I wonder whether working is the right choice for me /cries some more

What will happen to this world?

People. Sometimes they are so selfish they could do anything to get what they wanted. They could sacrifice anyone, even children.

Children.

They still have so many things ahead them. They still have so many things they should learn, they could learn and got to learn. There are still so many things waiting for them, a beautiful tomorrow, dreams to chase. And yet, bad people take it away from them just like that.

Hit and run. Just for how many times this had happened around me? I lost count of it. So many people cried due to it and I feel like crying with them. And people never learn to say sorry, to go back and apologize for what they did. They simply run away, run from the problem they've created. And when they got caught they will blame others, blame the children, but never blame themselves. They just never think that this could happen to them too someday, somewhere, at a plance and at a time that they will never know. God is wise, HE knows who is at wrong, who is not, and they will get what they've sow 10x from whatever they've caused.

Fights. There are so many fights in my country and there are so many children who become the victim of this so-called fights. If you ask me, I called it stupid fights. They fight for their pride, pride between two adults, pride that means nothing compared to the future those children held in their hands for a brighter tomorrow, to bring this world far away from destruction. Pride cause them to fight, cause them to kill those innocent children, cause them to die before their time, cause them to lose their live and their smile in an instant.

My question.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THIS WORLD?

What is your strength? Are you proud of it?

"It's not that you don't have something good within you. You just never take the time to think about it. So know yourself first before you say that you have nothing."

That's what my teacher told me when I said to her that I have nothing I can be proud of. She told me the exact same words I've written above. It's the words from her that I'll never forget forever. When she said that, not only me, but all my friends started to think about it too. What she said was right. We never take the time to sit and think about it. We usually just think of ourselves as "normal", "usual", "ordinary", but my teacher said that every each of us was unique and that no one could be like us.

"There must be something you are good at. Search for it. It will be your task for next week."

With that words, we began our journey to search for our strength. We talk to each other, talk to our families, friends, asking them what do they think about us. Their answers are the standard one I guess. "I think you are okay", "You are good enough". And when the week is over we can't find anything. We feel strangely disappointed so my teacher asked us to meet with her one by one in her office. We talked and talked and talked and when we exited her office we finally find our strength.

For me, it's my ears. I'm so proud of them I guess. Thanks to them I can learn language easily. I don't need to go to any language center and learn from the textbook. I can't learn from textbook actually. I learn it just by listening to the language and so far, I learn english, japanese and korean just like that. I'm fortunate that I have good ears though my brain is not so useful lols

Have you find what your strength is? And are you proud of it?

Friends, what do they mean for you?

The recent event with Gail's post in her LJ make me realized once more what's the meaning of friends to me.

Since I'm the only child in my family, I often get lonely, especially when my parents do their own business, forgetting about me sometimes. My only friends when I was a child was dolls, and nintendo (the old nintendo, not the DS one). I often wondered though why I'm always alone when everyday my friends would tell the story about them bickering with their siblings for a very small things. They would always tell me how fortunate I am because I'm the only child and my parents never prioritize my siblings over me. True, I never experience that but they also never experience my loneliness at home when there's no one to talk to. So maybe that's why I treasure my friends so much.

I try to maintain a very good relationship with all my friends, do whatever I can do to restore the damage if I somehow do a mistake and make them angry at me. I try not to say the wrong things when I'm with them, try to be silent if they didn't ask me anything, or even be the obidient type of person who will do whatever my friends asked me to do. I hate losing friends even more than I hate losing my pride. Pride is nothing compared to friends. I always think like that.

And I still think like that, it's just that I've matured about it. I won't do anything for them, but I'll try to see what I can do to help them the best I can. I will say sorry if I did the wrong thing but I won't let them bully me to say sorry everytime even though I did nothing wrong. I will try to mend the relationship if I did commit a mistake that make them hate me or dislike me.

I have this one friend that had been with me for more than 10 years so she knew all about my bad habit, my weakness, my way of thinking, what I like, basically everything about me. We got into a fight once when I refused to say sorry to her when she's clearly at wrong. Though it took us 2 months to reconcile but I'm glad that we're best friends again. She's the longest friend that I have that could understand me like an open book and it would be horrible to lose her.

That's me though. Not everyone will do the same thing as me, and I'm sure that everyone has different opinion regarding friends. I hope that I could read about you and your best friend. That would be nice :)

JUU.IS.DEAD

Firstly, I want to say thank you (even though it's already a month late T.T) to all of you who had wished me a happy birthday, whether it's through THIS POST, my Facebook, personal PM@LJ/emails/text messages/ANM's board, or even directly saying it to me. I really appreciate it. Without you all, my birthday celebration won't be fun at all!

And thanks also for sending me gifts, physical gifts (that my real life friends gave to me), virtual gifts, or Arashi photos/banners/wallpapers. I love all of them. I've received so many love from you all I'm very happy to have you all as friends.

If you want to know what kind of gifts I received from my real life friends, just click the link below~!

And now, onto my real problem.

I haven't been able to sleep for three days straight (if I count it, I think it's more than 70 hours) thanks to my annoying senior who couldn't do anything and made me do her work instead. She just plain asshole and a burden to my team (which consist of 4 people, along with that senior). She's always late in doing her job and that prevented us from finishing our jobs as well. So we had to do her job or we wouldn't be able to go to the next step. That's why I was so stressed out and that led me to no sleep for a day, coudn't eat because my stomach was in pain (it's always like this when I'm stressed), and of course, another sleepless day because I still had to do her other job. OMG. Why didn't she get it already? She's like, what? 26 but still act like 15. If this went on, I'd die because of insomnia and lack of nutriion just because of her.

But right now, I'm not going to ask about what to do about my senior. Instead, I want to know whether you guys can give me a good solution about insomnia? I need my sleep, seriously. Another sleepless day then I will beat Corrine's record of 80 hours not sleeping xD
If there's any good solution, I hope you all can help me!

My Friend and Another New Layout

This happened not long ago, two days ago to be exact, when I and my friends went shopping. At first, it was peaceful. Then later, some people began to send us glare or just simply whispering by themselves whenever they saw us. Maybe you will want to ask, why?

This is because my friend is gay, and at that time he brought his boyfriend along with him.

I'm not being a saint here, but can people please respect other feelings before they are doing whatever they are doing? Is it so wrong to be a gay? Well, they don't exactly say that gay is nasty but by the way they are acting it's like they don't want to associate with my friend. Even when we go to a shop to buy some clothes, the shopkeepers giving us somewhat unsure glance. My other friends (the girls) are sick with this so they decide to just go and not buy anything for the day. My friend (the boy, the gay one) feel really bad that he stopping us from having fun. But we just brush it off.

We've been friends with him for more than 10 years and not once in our friendship we disrespect him or giving him weird glances. Sure, he is different than normal people but it's just that he's loving someone who's the same gender as him. People need to broaden their vision, seriously. You shouldn't judge people just because he's gay, lesbian, etc. I hope that in the future people can show some respect to other human beings, no matter how different they are.

Enough with the emo talk, I'm having a new layout again! Yay! This time, one of ANM graphic designer make it for me~ *whistles* Thanks Vanessa for making me the layout and enduring all my troublesome request xD It must be hard for you, dear *huggles* And since I can't put the other FO banner that Vanessa make for me in my intro post, I'll just post it here.

Beautiful, isn't it? *dazed*
