mikes represent the players while not being limited to that, they are also people of their own and unique. i think ralsei represents deltarune (the game) as a character the way mikes represent the player. a unique person based on something from real life. i think thats why ralsei starts exploring themself more a few chapters in, its kinda like the game gaining importance to the player and becoming something special as they get into/attached to it. how we start recognizing it as something other than any game
asked a customer if he had a MyPanera card and he told me a “disreputable friend” of his stole all his rewards cards while he was in a year-long coma
MEMORYHEADS GIVE YOU A PIECE OF THEMSELF. THE EGGS IN DELTARUNE MAY BE MEMORIES/HELPING KRIS REMEMBER THE THING THAT HAPPENED. FORGOTTEN MAN GIVES YOU AN EGG. SCARED DONUT GUY GONER SAYS THEYRE HOLDING A PIECE OF GASTER. THE PIECE LOOKS LIKE AN EGG. FORGOTTEN MAN IS GASTER AND HES GIVING YOU A PIECE OF HIMSELF WHEN U VISIT HIM
what if susie squeezing a lemon (a yellow object) to make lemonade was foreshadowing for kris (a yellow human) going deep into the water and being crushed ny the water pressure (with noelle. the sweetener represented noelle) (because shes sweet)

Are you leaning more on a Holiday manor or hospital dark world?
tvlandofficiall answered:
holiday manor, largely because i want to actually see the town’s perception of dess get addressed more directly. i’d still like a darkner boss that’s a woman and guest-star lightner carol in ch6 to balance out ch5’s antagonists being flowery (a young darkner man,) and asgore (a lightner man,) though i’d also like it if asgore’s misogyny and the way it informed flowery’s view of his situation could be unpacked through how carol feels regarding her relationship with him, too. rudy’s falling is definitely something i can see being a catalyst for certain plot points, but i’d be a little less forgiving of ch5 if that became the entire focus of the following chapter. him taking precedence over her during her conflict “at” the festival already left somewhat of a sour taste in my mouth.
Agree, I hope that the focal boss darkner is the Dragoness Drawing cause; More interesting than having a straight up attempt at showing Dess through Noelle or Kris’s eyes or something like that in my eyes (Flowery very much took Asriel’s place in Chapter 5 which I feel is gonna be a reoccuring theme).
Plus, I can see said Darkner and Carol having a much more positive and healthier relationship (mother - adopted daughter type dynamic you feel) compared to Flowery and Asgore is fitting. Given Carol’s own pain at lose and how she wants to keep things the same, her bonding with said Darkner as she has to work with her to fulfil her own goals would also better help explain and get her into a mindset where she might be willing to listen to Noelle (especially after having most of her trust in Rudy’s ability basically thrown away due to him overexerting himself). Also lets Carol have a fire and ice duo fight which … good, she deserves a fight where she gets to tagteam with someone to absolutely decimate any chance for victory to really sell the need for communication while also showcasing her own skills as both mayor and a ninja. (I can see blue soul being good here due to the sheer amount of ways ninjas obstruct their enemies movements + her not wanting to hurt Noelle directly if it can be helped) (Cyan soul also makes sense cause opposite of Flowery’s orange soul mode).
I do think that Rudy will be playing more of minor role, more the goal and how his eventual loss will affect Noelle and Carol & how they can both grow to handle it after everything else + it would also tie Rudy’s arc of helplessness up well.
they should invent an opposite version of venting where instead of expressing your feelings you talk about or create inspired by things you dont understand at all and have never felt ever
