Sorry guys, I've been so busy with midterms and random happenings that I never realized the submissions post wasn't made.

Just a note, however. I haven't been getting very many submissions, and of the ones I have been getting...they aren't even all technically lolcat style. Please, please take a look over at icanhascheezburger for reference before submitting.

For those of you who have complained of having difficulties finding pictures to work with, I have created a photobucket with stock photos for you to choose from. If you have any photos you think you would be funny to use, you can submit them to me to put in the photobucket. You are not limited to the photos I have posted, and may still continue to use whichever pictures you want. The photobucket is listed here:

As I did not receive the amount of submissions I asked for in my previous post, I am unsure as to what should be done with this community. Is it not going anywhere, or should there be a time span (i.e. two weeks) for submissions, and whatever is there is there? Any suggestions are welcome! Comments are open.

(no subject)

So, here it goes. I realize this has only been open one week, and that it was also finals week for a lot of you. But considering the insane amount of emails I received the first 6 HOURS with people telling me how excited they were and how to send their submissions in, plus getting 70+ members the first day, I must say...I was a little disappointed to receive only one submission.

I don't want to push this community if no one is interested, but so many seem interested so I'm just rather confused. So this is my deal, I am going to post a deadline for submissions. If I don't receive at least ten (okay, maybe 9 since I've received one), I'll assume no one really wants this community and will end it. The deadline is:

December 27th, 2007

EDITI've gotten quite a few comments and notices from people saying they want to make submissions but don't think they're creative enough. DON'T WORRY!! At this point, any submission is better than no submission, and I'm willing to bet there will be someone out there who has a laugh over it! Plus, it's annonymous if you want it to be, so if it sucks...no one's going to pin it on you!

Also, I finally fixed the comments so they are now screened properly.

Ever come across a Hanson picture that just made you stop and go....WTF?

For fans of lolcats and Hanson, this is the place for you! Here's how it works:

1. Associate yourself with icanhascheezburger.com if you're not familiar with it already.
2. Find a Hanson photo that makes you go O.o? Caption it. If you don't have the sKiLls of mad photoshop or paint, head to cheezburger and use their form to upload and caption.
3. Upload it to a site like tinypic.com
4. Reply to the submission post with the link. All submissions will be kept anonymous, unless you specifically ask to be credited. If you do not wish to submit it here in fear of staying annonymous or what have you, you may email them to hansonlols@gmail.com
5. Laugh your ass off!

Ofcourse, there must be some guidelines.
1. Please keep your image within 700x500 pixels.
2. I am not ruling out images of the wives, or kids, but don't be assholes. Images that bash or seem malicious will be removed, this is supposed to be fun. Also, please no incest implications.
3. Do not request to join or post in this community. I will be the only one posting submissions. Instead, friend or bookmark the page.

As soon as I receive 15-20 submissions, I will make a first post!
