Hello and welcome to Hanson_Chall. Anyone can join and enter so long as they follow the rules.
Rules:
+ only one icon submission per week. (unless otherwise stated)
+ when you post your icon, post the IMG SRC version, the URL, and state whether or not you'd like a banner made for you, should you win.
+ you may not take an icon made by someone else and edit it to your liking, then enter the contest with it. anyone doing this will be banned.
+ you can choose to have text on the icon, or not. if the challenge calls for text (ie: lyric challenge) three words the text must be legible, however if you want to use tiny text for other lyrics, that's fine.
You may submit your icon by posting in the community. You're allowed to enter icons from Monday-Friday. Voting will take place on Friday/Saturday. Results will be posted Sunday night, along with the new challenge.
Occasionally we have lyric challenges. Instead of letting the winners of the previous challenge pick them, we now give the opportunity for all members to submit lyrics. Read this post and then comment on it to submit lyrics you'd like to see used in a future challenge. If you wish to submit an idea for other challenges (pictures, bases, themes, etc) do so here.

Have a certain set of pictures you'd like to see used in a future challenge? Or maybe a theme? If so, comment here! Here are the requirements:
Picture Challenge: If you want to suggest a picture challenge, you must supply 4+ high-quality pictures, preferably one each of Isaac, Taylor, Zac, and then one of them together, however this is not a requirement. You must also state what event/premeire/photoshoot the images are from. Use the following form to submit a future challenge:

Theme Challenge: For this, all you have to do is give a description of the theme, and state possible ways the theme could be interpreted. Use the following form to submit a future challenge:

If you wish to submit multiple challenge ideas, make each one in a FRESH comment. I say this because once I use a challenge, I will delete your comment - it makes it easier to keep track of things. If you submit more than one challenge per comment, I'll just delete your comment right off the bat.
Comments are screened so that new challenges will be a surprise. If/when I use your challenge idea, you will be credited. :)
If you would like to be an affiliate of hanson_chall, post in the comments with a link to your community and I'll add you. Currently I am only accepting communities that relate to Hanson or are other icon/banner/graphic challenge communities. Any requests for affiliation outside of this post will be ignored. Once I have added you, I will delete your comment. So please don't re-post it if you notice your comment isn't there.
Instead of letting one of the winners choose the lyrics every week, we're going to give an opportunity for every member to choose the lyrics. Comment here with lyrics from a song (the whole song), the artist, and the song name and your submission will be considered. If you want to submit more than one song feel free, but please post every new song in a new comment. Comments are screened so the lyrics will be somewhat of a surprise.
Also, co-mods, remember that if you suggest lyrics you have to screen your own comments. =) Plus I'm adding this to the userinfo so the link will always be handy.
