i would LOVE to upload the lots, unfortunately i didn’t have to foresight to save them along the way as i did the challenge!! 🤦♀️ i really regret that bc i loved a lot of the lots too and 100% should have immortalized them!!
the good news is: i do have the leo house at the very least, and i HAVE found some very random backup saves that i made along the way as i did astrolegacy. i am needing to do some research to see the best way to extract a lot from an old save backup, but once i am able to figure all that out i will totally upload what lots i am able to salvage!
otherwise, i am def tempted to rebuild a few of them for my current Belladonna Cove Chronicles spinoff playlist, and i’ll totally upload any new and improved builds if i do end up remaking any!

okay so i have exported out Jesse, Jason, Andromeda and Peaches using the same method i did with Lasagna in my earlier post!
so if you happened to catch the Astrolegacy finale live stream, Jesse has been ressurected but……. is a zombie. So you may need to cure her of that if you don’t want her zombie-fied in your game LOL. We ultimately moved her in with Countessa in Old Downtown of Belladonna cove (would love to hear where you go with her from here lmao)
if you are able to, let me know if they work? then i’ll have some confirmation and can post more to my site!! :)

For some reason she didn’t have a little portrait in the sims browser like all the other sims, unsure what was going on there…!
if this works, i may de-age her back down to adult and re-upload, but wanted to see if i had the process correct with her current sim first before making any moves!

ah, some of the articles I had seen had very misleading headlines re: the deadline but you're correct. the free extended security update opt-in is available for the duration of the next year

Hi Han ! Stepping in for a quick tutorial :)
To extract (and save !) Your in-game sims, you will need SimPe. (If you are unfamiliar, you'll need winrar or winzip or any app allowing you to open archives.)
SimPe is available on MTS2, and doesn't require no installation. You may unzip it and run it !
From here:
• open SimPe (loading all your sims data may take a while)
• upper left corner, the tab "tools" > "neighborhood" > "neighborhood explorer" (? sorry, mine is in french :|)
• a new window should pop up, with all your existing neighborhoods displayed. Pick the neighborhood your extracted-to-be sims are in
• once the neighborhood is loaded (lots of lines and tabs ahah, don't worry about them), same as before: "tools" > "neighborhood" > "sim surgery" (again, long loading ahead)
• tadaa ! All your sims from that neighborhood are there. Quite a folk, eh. You may find them by their name. Once you click on the one you want to extract, go to the "sim patient" section (the first one on top) and click "use". From here, you can click "export" to save them as .package (basically, just saving their features) in your SavedSims folder !
If you want to turn them into Sims2Pack (so that their hair, outfit and so on are shared too) you may open the bodyshop, tweak them as you see fit and export them again from there !
I hope it is clear and if not, I'll try to explain better :)

this was a submission i got from Local-Giant, a steamed ham watching the Astrolegacy challenge!!! they took the time to painstakingly chart out the family tree AND all the signs!!!!
