Yay! New TV!
Summer break hasn't been as much of a bore as usual since I have my own computer now. I've been watching stuff on Hulu while I work. I usually take my work into the other room and work while I watch shows and summer break is always awful because everything is re-runs. I've watched all 3 seasons of Buffy and the first season of Angel and all of Firefly. The other night I watched Love And A .45 so it hasn't been bad.
GHI is new and Leverage is back. More importantly, a Torchwood mini-series!!! I dare say I like Torchwood more than Dr. Who...maybe not...but just as much ^_^ There's also this new show coming on BBC this weekend called Being Human, haven't heard anything about it but I set the DVR anyway. It could be cool, give me my vampire fix at least.
If anybody responds to this telling me to watch True Blood I will scream. I don't get HBO and can't find the episodes online so I can't watch it even though I want to and have to hear everybody talk about it.
Oh and if Chris doesn't take me to see The Half-Blood Prince this weekend I'm going to die...just die.

New Stuff, Vacation, And More To Come!
I am on vacation from my day job this week. We're not actually going anywhere right now, just needed to get away from work for awhile and get some stuff done around the house. I will be leaving tomorrow to stay overnight out of town with my best friend but other than that I've been here and I've been working ^_^
Monday was mine and Chris's 13 wedding anniversary! Yay us! And they said it wouldn't last...HA!

There's more where that came from. They have both provided me with an extensive classic horror collection. I've got mummies, a wolfman, a witch, frankenstein, and other creepy goodies. As soon as I have them done I'll get them listed. As you probably know by now I never post original images because they might get stolen. It happens a lot. So you'll just have to wait!

Crazy Crochet Crudities
So I have (somewhat) mastered crocheting the Mary Jane Slippers. The pattern I found wow, these people have some fucked up feet is all I have to say. I changed it a bit here and there, added some trim (which I didn't add very securely to my first pair and the entire trim unraveled in the washer and dryer on one slipper, lol) and made them come up a little higher on the sides of the feet.
Now I'm attempting socks. Oh my. I'm having to change around the patterns a bit on this as well for size (this chick musta had some monster sized feet) but mostly because I'm using different size hooks than the pattern calls for because I couldn't find the right size locally and don't feel like searching them out right now. My hooks are smaller and still the sock was huge? I know I have smaller feet than a lot of girls my age but wow!
My second attempt is turning out better than the first, I just wish I could speed up my time a bit more, any suggestions?
