I'm listening to a home brew of the soundtrack to the show Supernatural (courtesy of avilina) in my car right now. Never has a soundtrack rocked so hard. AC/DC, Rush, Def Leppard, Boston, Ratt (remember Ratt?), Zeppelin...it takes serious effort not to air jam, which would be dangerous while steering.

No review by yours truly on GameCola this month - between the heat and WoW grinding and illnesses (both mine and my family's) I just haven't had time. I'll have to make the August issue.

My friends are at war again. This seems to be an ongoing thing - the Israel and Palestine of my life. I'm gonna try and wash my hands of it; I'm not much of a mediator and, to be honest, I'd rather feed my addiction...

...World of Warcraft!

Man, this game is awesome. I'm spending most of my playtime between two characters: Gareth, the Blood Elf paladin, and Raq, the Orc Hunter (Raq rolls with a purple velociraptor named Barney - hee!). Both are on the Moon Guard server, which is a role-playing server. Sometimes this is really cool, and I've enjoyed a few role-playing sessions with people that have been very entertaining...and sometimes it's utterly frakking ridiculous - ask lysander_cat about the cocktail party sometime.

Most of my other friends are on the Agrammar server, and I miss chatting with them while online. I'm spending most of my time on Agrammar playing a Dwarven Hunter named Brace (who adventures with a black wild boar named Max).

Even darth_riley gets in on it - she's playing a Blood Elf Hunter on Moon Guard named Cyrina. Seriously, I just coach and offer advice when requested...she hit level four yesterday. She also asked me to install it on our other computer so she could play while I was playing. roxietiel is a little less than thrilled.
