all you need is love
Today there was a service held in church for the victims of 9/11. I found out that about 10 people from around the area of Leitrim (that's a really small part of Ireland, but I live there so it's okay) died on that tragic day. I felt so upset because was the first time I heard that anyone from around here was even involved. All the church was in tears and not going to lie, so was I.
Then on our way home, my mam told me about how Ireland had like, an off day on the day of the funeral. She said she remembered that day so well because her and my dad were going to a hotel for the weekend and the whole atmosphere was really depressing and that on the journey to the hotel, the radio was playing really sad songs.
I'm just lucky I wasn't old enough at the time to really remember the atmosphere of it all, I only really remember when it happened and it being on the news and newspapers a lot.

first day of school!
Today was actually kind of.... good. Even though the school management messed up my timetable and said I was doing biology instead of ag science :/ and the fact that I'm in barely any of the same classes as my friends from Transition Year. But still. It went good.
school depression
So tomorrow I'm going back to school. I'll be going into fourth year which is the year before we have our huge exams aka the leaving cert. I'm really nervous because most of my friends are in the year above me because I did transition year last year. Plus, I'm not ready to go back to studying really hard, I've never been good at it. And last year was more of a "doss year" because in Transition Year we do more project work than written work. Anyways, I'm totally screwed. I guess I'll do a post on how my first day went tomorrow. Meh.
