Haiku Icons

Here's my first haiku icon.

Myth of myself, skin-

encapsulated egos,

separate from world...


How do we transcend

illusion? Embrace chaos,

to find the purpose...

Smallest sweetnesses,

so fleeting, we ignore. Why

live to suffer on?


Self-doubt, confusion,

we spend our lives. Perfection

eludes contentment.


Soften, discomfort.

Heart found open, happiness.

Can not be taken.

Slender, graceful tree,

smooth-barked boughs, gently sloping,

draping o'er waters...


Fiery, jagged leaves,

blood-red, draping reflection,

floating, whirling seeds...


Mirror vision, your

equation; soul, spirit, like

the passage of rough


winds through slim branches...

Kikyou, chaotic beauty

the sacred Maple...

Ikite yuku...

Ima doko n'iru no?

Mayoitteta...


Gomen nasai, my love...

Itsuka wa tadorit-

sukeru yume?


Shinjiteru wa,

hikari motome... I-

kite yuku ni...



Unable to cry

out... Where are you now? I have

lost my way from you...


Forgive me, my love.

When will I be able to

follow your one dream?


Believing in you,

now I begin my journey,

unable to cry

(out for you...)

There is goodness in

the shadow... It draws me like

a seed planted in


the wastelands of my

soul, sprouting up rare blossoms

e're turn of the dark...


Wait for you... blue

silver sky-waters shimmer

by your reflection...


Wait for you... no

suffering passage wasted,

nor word forgotten...


Wait for you... slip

of shadow embracing fire's

new ascending dawn...




Haiku has become my waking dream, my dreaming awakened...
I invite you all into my world, of syllable's immeasurable journey....
