Basic rules, first and foremost:
0. READ THE RULES. ESPECIALLY THE FIRST ONE. *points* >_> All membership requests sent in without an accompanying paragraph WILL be ignored.
1. Membership has to be approved. Yes, we're elitist bitches. Until then, if you want to join, email Elihice (elihice[AT]gmail[DOT]com) or comment in a recent entry at
elihice with a paragraph explaining why you should be accepted. It will help a lot if you have someone who can vouch for you in the comm already, but if that's not possible, email me/comment on lj telling me why you should be accepted.
2. If you use a keyboard, you can read. If you can read, it's assumed you went to school. If you went to school, it's expected that you actually put those English writing skills to use. Not typing coherently makes you look stupid. RE-JECT-ED. You fail. Try again. [/sarcasm]
3. There will be critiques in this comm. There will also be compliments, of course. We will speak up and we will speak up honestly. So if you have a frail heart, don't post here.
4. Addendum to above: Unless, of course, you put a big fat "THIS IS MEANT TO BE LAUGHED AT KTHX" at the beginning. In which case we will heartily m0xx0r your soul.
5. NO STOLEN FANART IN ICONS IN THIS COMM. We don't care if they're pretty and we have our reasons for this. If you have fanart in an icon in this comm, please try to use an icon without any fanart to avoid confusion.
6. Use common sense. Granted, just how 'common' this 'common sense' is can be subject to debate... but yeah.
If you took the above rules seriously word for word, this isn't the place for you. There is a lot of sarcasm and snarkiness, and maybe some bitching on the side, as displayed above. However, do not take our messed up sense of humor lightly, and it's expected the rules to not be abused.
And for those still interested, there is a 'nicer' clarification on the above rules.
