i think another game is in the works for saturday afternoon/evening, stay tuned.
but now we're looking to play dodgeball!

As a result of the widely successful soccer even that was held yesterday, it has come to our attention that more events of this nature should be planned.

The most widely hyped up of these events is a game of dodgeball. So we need to come up with a date, probably sometime next week. Let's go for either Wednesday or Thursday of next week for right now. Does this conflict with anybody's schedule?

Things we'll need for dodgeball:

1. An official ref who isn't playing in the game. I don't think I can handle somebody going "NO WAY! IT HIT THE GROUND FIRST!" after they get pegged with a ball squarely in the face. That'd give me just enough time to go buy a shotgun and unload some bullets into them.

We could switch off or something like that, but I don't know. Sawyer, although the most widely popular ref, is a pussy when it comes to blowing a whistle. You must be able to blow your whistle hard and call people out when they're out. There will be no debates. Ref overrules everything.

2. We need balls. The ideal style of dodgeball for a big group, if we wanna keep going on and on is jailbreak. Meaning, these have to be decently sized balls for throwing across the entire field, yet the same type that won't kill somebody if it hits them in the stomach. I'm wondering if it would be absurd to ask everyone for like $3.00 so we can buy about 10-15 good identical balls. Especially considering how big a dodgeball league like ours will probably grow.

3. We need more players. X-post this into your livejournal or something. Dodgeball with 20 people on a team would be extremely intense. Especially if we were playing jailbreak. Bring your dads (learn from me), brothers, friends, internet buddies, whoever. Just make sure you bring people.


So if you're interested in playing, please pick between Wednesday or Thursday of next week. We'll figure out a date that best suits everyone.

Tell me if you think $3.00 will work out for every person, or if money shouldn't be a request. If it shouldn't be, explain how we're gonna get suitable balls for this type of game.

I think that's it for now. We're gonna set up another soccer game soon hopefully, and maybe we can become an official athletic league or something.

today we did our first show and it was pretty sweet

Alright. This community has been dead for much too long, and with summer starting for nearly everybody...things need to change. This community not only needs to be a place for people to talk shit and make friends, but it needs to be a source of information. So here's what I've got.

Issue #1: For those interested in pillowfightclub and the news about when it's starting again, then you've come to the right place. The first rounds of the summerlong pillow fights will be happening sometime in mid-June, final dates TBA. Join the community to stay on top of things.

Issue #2: For those interested in the game of Diplomacy, a multi-national battle for dominace over Europe pre-WWI, taking up to seven players, you need to contact raistlinx for more information. If you're a fucktard, then he won't let you play.

Issue #3: For those interested in the game of Dungeons and Dragons, please contact xxagainstmexx to set up a summer-long campaign.

Issue #4: For those interested in helping out a local zine, based on entertainment and culture then please contact xxagainstmexx to help out with that. Anybody with experience in photoshop would be pretty cool.

Issue #5: Anybody interested in a "music video making" project should also contact xxagainstmexx for information involving that. The project will mainly be composed of making funny music videos in tribute to great music.

Issue #6: Any males of the homosexual gender should contact omegadaxer if you wish to get your dick sucked. His goals for the summer include become well-known for his slutiness.
