In order to gain access to the makerspace:
After completing a training session, don't forget to reserve equipment before you use it. Reservations forms and availability calendars are available on the Reserving Makerspace Equipment tab.
Submit the Makerspace Print/Cut/Make Request Form if you're a Lawrence University student, faculty, or staff who:
Someone from the makerspace will be in touch with you with an estimated time frame for printing/making.
The makerspace is only available for use by Lawrence University students, faculty, and staff. Students are welcome to make fun stuff in the makerspace, but academic use of the machines gets priority.

Would you like to be sure someone is available to support you when you work in the makerspace? The makerspace is staffed by student assistants during the following hours over SPRING term:
*We're trying something new this term.* Open training will begin on the hour during any of these help hours (so, for Mondays- open trainings will begin at 12, 1, 5, and 6).
Mondays: 12:00-2:00 PM, 5:00-7:00 PM
Saturdays: 2:00-4:30 pm
Wednesdays: 2:00-5:00 pm, 6:00-8:00 pm
Thursdays: 3:00-5:30 PM
Fridays: 12:00-2:00, 5:00-7:00 pm
Sundays: 1:00-3:00 PM
The makerspace can be used by those with card access anytime the library is open.
LU instructors are welcome to use the space and equipment with their students. Contact us to set up a custom training session for you and your class. We're happy to work with you to integrate the makerspace equipment into your curriculum.
Faculty who would like to have us print something for them may fill out the Print/Cut/Make Request Form.
Did you attend makerspace training during a previous school year?
Request to have your access reinstated for another school year by filling out the Makerspace Access Reinstatement Form.
Students who are working on an independent project or senior capstone are invited to use the makerspace & equipment. Contact us to find out when the next training session will be held, or if you'd like to arrange time to figure out how the makerspace can help you meet your project goals.
