#106 - Judgment Prey by John Sandford

Im not sure how I felt about this one.
The meat of it was ok, I guess, but the original murder and then the other stuff just seemed like a lot of shit jammed together.
I didn't believe the surviving wife and her being so murder happy as soon as the family was killed (just seemed forced) and then the other guy who just happens to be ok with murdering a couple people over meh. Then the ending and the ending after that.

I guess I do know how I felt about that after all, heh.

Lucas and Virgil being shoved together now that That Fucking Flowers doesnt have his own series anymore just feels forced as opposed to all the other novels and costarring before. Just meh.

#015 - Shalador's Lady by Anne Bishop

I dont think of the last two books and seperate novels, they are an amazing duology in one of my all time favorite series. Its an amazing story and gets me in the feels every time.

Some of my favorite bits in novels arent the main storyline, its what happens on the sides. When Ranon doesnt want Khollie and hurts his feelings leading up to Khollie being hurt and Ranon finding out how much he loved his little brother. Its a huge character beat that makes me cry every time. And when Khollie wakes up from being hurt when noone knew he would. Its amazingly emotional and gets be every single time. Love this series and love this writer.

#014 - Shadow Queen by Anne Bishop

When I get to the reread of the Black Jewels I always inhale the two books about Cassie and Gray
(yes, yes, Queen is brought in to save the day, blah blah heh but its the story of those two that always gets to me)
I really wanna know if they had a good life after the evens of these two books. The rest of the series spans centuries and these two were simply mortal and lived a mortal life span. I love the idea of them having a host of kids running around being herding by Scelties and loving until the say they returned to the Darkness.

#012 - Hunt for Wolverine : Claws of a Killer from Marvel

So I never read any of the Death of Wolverine that left him dead in a shroud of adamantium but I have heard bits of the story.
Hes dead but missing, there are panels of him murder botting. The Reavers are after him for the reward (I didnt connect the main Reaver in the Logan film with the blonde cyborg from the amazing Hellfire and Dark Phoenix storyarcs in the 80s, kinda nerdy cool)

Lots of people hunting for him, main thre are Deathstrike, Sabretooth and his kid Daken. All wanting to kill him (of course)

There is some green light that makes zombies and stops their healing factor.

Lots of stuff. Could be fun. I think this storyline leads up to the XMen as a world power of Krakatoa but Im not positive.

#011 - BRZRKR volume One by Keanu Reeves

So we got this and a manga called BERZERK and I thought they were the same story (id heard of the manga before but hadnt read it)

Main guy (of course its Keanu) is an immortal killing machine who, apparently, is hoping the people he is working for will give him his greatest wish, mortality. So he can freaking die. Hes 80k years old and been a murder bot from day one of his existence. Its was violent, Id read them if more came in but I wont search them out.

#010 - The Invisible Ring by Anne Bishop

This deals with an event several hundred years before the main Black Jewels trilogy and introduces a few people whos ancestors will be the center of two of my favorite books and characters in the entire Black Jewels series (Cassie and Gray, yay!)

Fresh from Batman: Death of The Family and Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn returns to her first solo series in the New 52! The writing team of Jimmy Palmiotti (All Star Western) and Amanda Conner (Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre) unleashed Harley on an unsuspecting dc universe, as she encounters various heroes and villains ... and leaves no one unscathed in her wake! With art by Chad Hardin and a slew of comics' best artists including Darwyn Cooke, Sam Kieth, Tony S. Daniel, Paul Pope, Walter Simonson and Art Baltazar!

#008 - False Values by Been Aaronovitch

Interesting beginning with our hero out of a job and working in a tech bro setting as security.

Now in paperback, the eighth book of the bestselling Rivers of London series returns to the adventures of Peter Grant, detective and apprentice wizard, as he solves magical crimes in the city of London.

Peter Grant is facing fatherhood, and an uncertain future, with equal amounts of panic and enthusiasm. Rather than sit around, he takes a job with émigré Silicon Valley tech genius Terrence Skinner's brand new London start up—the Serious Cybernetics Company.

Drawn into the orbit of Old Street's famous 'silicon roundabout', Peter must learn how to blend in with people who are both civilians and geekier than he is. Compared to his last job, Peter thinks it should be a doddle. But magic is not finished with Mama Grant's favourite son.

Because Terrence Skinner has a secret hidden in the bowels of the SCC. A technology that stretches back to Ada Lovelace and Charles Babbage, and forward to the future of artificial intelligence. A secret that is just as magical as it technological—and just as dangerous.
