Group D+

well, someone is supposed to open and close it (see blue packet) (probably our best speaker should). have we established who our two witnesses are and what they are going to say? we need maps. now, since they haven't really told us how long this is supposed to be, i think we should all just stand up and give a little blip about the basics of what we intend, or somethin like that, incorporating the witnesses into it though. basically we all need to pay close attention to the first page of the blue packet. question: are we supposed to get up there and wing it or are we supposed to have speeches written out?

here's what we decided on tues.:
-Jerusalem will be an international city on the Israeli/Palestinian border
-Tel Aviv will be the Israeli capitol
-we intend to build aquifiers (sp?) for the Israelis (pretty much where our funds would go)
-the Gaza Strip will go to Egypt

are well all still good with that?

as far as costumes go, sausen said we don't necessarily have to dress up, but we can if we like. yes, we are flying by the seat of our communal pants, but thats just what we do.

we should probably just give the golan hieghts to the palistininans because of the location of all the refugees, and like alden said most of the palistinians in the west bank are towards the north, so yeah. if they mess up the water that's their problem, if they want to be a country, they're going to have to learn to act like one and deal with their own problems sometimes.

anyway, thoughts, feelings, ideas?


did anybody actually read all of that?...can you tell i have nothing else to do?...

What kind of sources are you guys finding for this? I haven't the faintest idea of where to look for Egyptian water info. The only stuff I have found was in the packet, but that was water in general, not as it relates to Egypt. HELP ME!!

Anywho, are you guys finding stuff? I have diddly, which could be in part to not having any time this weekend. So seriously, this is the first time I had to do tarea this weekend, and its like 8 at night on Suhday! Life is sad. Sad like this project.

So, I see the point, and I think its a laudible idea, but I have zero motivation to do this thang. Whatever, we'll talk tomorrow.

Whew-eee is it dusty in here. With the school year looming I have decieded to reserecte this old site and open it up again for discussion.
First order of buisness: Will Group D+ remain in its current incarnation? Do we want to boot/add anyone?
Second order of business: SOPHIE'S WORLD Keeping in mond that some people have not finished the book, I would like to initiate a discussion based upon it. What do you think of the story? What about the philosophers ideas? I s any one in it a complete moron you'd like to ream a new one?

I have a picture of the ND nat cemetery that I am tracing to ensure quality. I have many pictures of Uncle Sam so he looks right. This is fun!
Any objections thus far?

How are we coming on them? I have a few, but there is one in particular that was very funny and I am trying to find it..

Any ideas for the one we create?

Also, with what criteria are we supposed to evaluate them? I have forgotten...

Email whatever information you have to the rest of us. We need to meet sometime as well, and we are going to. What times work best? Thursday afterschool works best for me as marching band is Wednesday and I have a private lesson at 8 on Thursday.
