As we use this turkey day to reflect on family and thanks for things let us not forget the boy child who's birth we will be celebrating. Join SHFTB this Christmas for an all new and 100 percent original musical called 'Santa's Sleigh Ride'! Its about Joe the Cabdriver accidentally killing Santa in a coke filled orgy and having to take his place, kinda like that Tim Allen movie. This is an actual musical and all the music is original, performed by a 9 piece band and 12 member choir!! Here is a special trailer for our upcoming Xmas show, we're a burlesque show so everything we do (including this video) is NSFW.

THE FORBIDDEN BURLESQUE ZONE!!!

Friday Oct 23rd is the debut collaboration between director Richard Elfman and Super Happy Funtime Burlesque. Richard, along with his brother Danny Elfman, made a great film back in the day called 'Forbidden Zone' that gave rise to their respective careers and catapulted Oingo Boingo into superstardom. On October 23 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the historic Wealthy Theatre, Richard Elfman screens his new color print of the film. In addition, Mr Elfman will be reprising his roles live on stage, singing, and dancing, for a 45 minute satirical look at the film provided by GR's popular burlesque troupe Super Happy Funtime Burlesque!!

Hey Boys and Girls:

The End Times Orchestra is looking for a horn player, either Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone or Trumpet.

You should:
1. Be able to read sheet music

2.Be able to practise with us on Thursday and Sunday evenings (will switch to thursdays only for winter)
3. Be able to commit to our many shows -- they typically occur on weekends.

4. Understand that we are both our own band as well as the house band for the Super Happy Funtime Burlesque Show, and that if you think Jesus is going to smite you for being the burlesque show, you should probably not apply.

5. Not be a total fucking pothead that can't remember shit.

That said, ETO is a seven-piece band ranging in styles from rock, jazz, blues, folk, klezmer, pop and more. We've played at most of the bars in town and we also tour with the burlesque show around Michigan. Unless we are doing some sort of fundraiser, you are guaranteed pay (and usually beer) at every show. We play both originals and covers. Some upcoming shows include The John Lennon Tribute Show at Founder's, The Halloween Burlesque Show at Wealthy Theatre, The Cystic Fibrosis Benefit and possible additional burlesque shows at Inside Out Gallery in Traverse City and Bell's Brewery. And that's just October.

The Murray EP (pay what you want for my music)

Dude, my first ever official release! The Murray!

http://www.indistr.com/petthewarri…

Album Info:
The Murray is a collection of songs culled from the Cedar Rock Basement Programs first sessions and a few in home sessions between Dustin Anderson and myself. Dustin Anderson recorded, mixed, and produced The Murray. The Murray features collaborations with extra soulful folkster supreme Claire Fisher, backing vocals from Lazy Genius frontman Christopher Stark, bass guitar from none other than The Soft Bulletin himself, and all around awesomeness by Dust A.C. Dust A.C.sung, arranged, played guitar, keys, drums, and duct tape on the EP. I wrote all the songs except Makin Me Sick, written by Dustin Anderson.

The Murray also includes 1 song from the Pet tHe Warrior Vault. A staple of the grrRoPoLis live show, Thinkin' In Drumtime(Jimmy Dean vers.) aka the Sausage version is the original recording/root/beginning of the most random song I've ever written.

And my English alter-ego comes out in the Dustin Anderson penned Makin Me Sick featuring vocals by Dust A.C., Claire Fisher, and me.

Peace peoples. Support the arts and the artists that create.

Love,
Michael aka Pet tHe Warrior

PS: If more rocking rock is your thing check out my band Montana Boys' debut release, Montana Boys.
