*venting and asking a question*

Tonight, I had to do something I HATE to do.

I had to tell someone that they were replaced in my RP, and chances are, they're going to be asked to leave.  Most of the others in the RP don't care much for the person involved, and many have downright refused to interact with the person in any way.  I tried to give this person a chara that doesn't interact much with others as a way to compromise. 

Maybe I'm being too nice.  Its not the first time I've been accused of this.

Granted, the person's not the kindest person in the world.  I've heard "selfish, self-absorbed, mean, a godmodder, pushy, bossy, yelling at  others to try to get them to do things their way, a bully" and other terms that probably shouldn't be repeated, by those that don't get along with this person.

This person also thinks that we're BFFs.  I already HAVE BFFs. 

So, I'm  asking the others in the RP for a vote as to whether or not this person should stay.  Its not looking good.  Its beginning to look like I'm going to have to ask this person to leave the RP.  I don't think that they're going to take it well.  And, chances are, I'm going to see them at a local con that we both work at.

Has anyone else ever had to ask someone to leave a RP in order to save it?  If so, how did you do it and how did they take it?  Any advise as to what to do should this happen again?

Sometimes, I hate being a Mod.  Or even a Co-Mod.

I was wondering...does anyone in their Gravitation RP comms have their characters advance in age?  I know that Gravitation: N-G, RP, we do.  I'm now 37, Yuki's 28 and so on.  I also know that in FoG [Force of Gravity], we aged a bit until Tatsuha was 18.  The lead-up to him turning "of age" was a LOT of fun to do, let me tell you!

So, do anyone else age their charas, or are they forever stuck in their canon age?

Since so many people had fun discussing their Gravitation rps (and it's great to see the fandom is still going strong in any form!) at another Gravitation community, I have made a present for Gravi RPers - a place to gather, recruit and gab to your hearts' content.

Announcing the Gravitation Role-Play Connection Community!

I realized no one had put together a gathering place for all Gravitation RPs, whether they were on LJ, Blogger, a web forum or wherever - a place where people could place their ads for needed characters, talk about the story-lines of their particular RPs, and compare and contrast how two or more people may be playing a specific Gravitation character.

Basically this is a place where all that exciting chat could blossom and grow even more!

So, the Gravitation Role-Play Connection Community was born!

I've pre-selected a few tags for you but I know you'll add more - feel free to do so!

I tried to glean the RPs mentioned at another community and immediately added them to the links list. If you have more, please post them here at your new community!

I hope those interested will find the community useful for their RPing needs.

Does anyone have any interest in moderating the community? Basically you'd be gathering the new RP info and posting the links in the Links section of the LJ.
