Right We've decided that a Gig/Musical Extravaganza on behalf of Charity seems like a good idea and involves very little effort for most people bar turning up. That and it doesn't just have to be GHU People.

We're going to begin nagging people, go get bands to help out, and for a venue, we think though we have one lined up already with a club night after as well so its all a matter of work.

So any bands, promoters, DJs, Beautiful People, Ugly People, Strange People etc that want to get involved - let either Me or GHU London know. The current venue location is likely to be London. But there's no reason why we couldn't have a Midlands leg as well!?

Venues that are interested would be welcome as would alternative clothing shops that might like to help out with T-Shirts/Other items to promote the event and themselves...Psiclone? Kates Clothing? Deviant Hair?

I took this from my myspace page, www.myspace.com/doctor_raven, after feeling VERY outraged at the stance taken from the Hannity and Combs video interview of Shirly Phelps Roper.

A commentary on the state of "christian" protesting...




Truth be told. Even as a Christian myself, I do NOT support ANYTHING that Phelp's daughter supports. I guess therefore I am "cursed" as well.

However, if I hold to the notion that My God is soveriegn and above any mans judgement (and I do) then realistically it is not hers or Phelp's judgement that I acknowledge.

I dont often post scriptures into my bullitens, but this I felt the need to share.

Matthew 7:20-23

20Therefore, you will [a]fully know them by their fruits.

21Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

22Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?

23And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].(A)(Amplified version)


Phelps and ilk would have us all think that by doing these "great works" of his(Phelp's works that is) that it ensures he is doing the right thing. The question is always put, who's laws are we following. Phelp's or God's.

My question to any supporter of Phelps is this: If Jesus is our example, and you are an example of him. When did he protest at a funeral? When did he lambaste his public? Certainly he protested the wrongs of his countrymen, but I have a hard time following a belief that a God who touched and healed the lepers, the unclean, ate with the prostitutes and hugged the pagan children would reject it all and suddenly tell us that he hates us. When is actions speak altogether a different story. He knew our sins, yet he still went through with the Cross. He didn't stop because 2000 years later people would argue about gay rights or abortion. Rome already had that in place as it stood. He gave his life for us for while we were still sinners, he gave his all for us. It is his precious gift to us, and is it not Phelps or his daughters whim or privelidge to revoke. He is not God, She is not God.. They are merely mortals on this trash heap, this mudball, this cesspool we call Earth. And we all swim in the much down here, none of us are righteous of our own accord.
