This community is a fair, open discussion of genetically modified organisms. Members of all opinions are welcome, as long as they respect the following guidelines and their fellow members.
Anything presented as fact (e.g., statstics) MUST HAVE A CITED, VERIFIABLE SOURCE. A link will suffice for web sources. Questionable citations will be researched in as timely a manner as possible. Anyone found fabricating sources and/or facts will be banned.
Unless a word is supposed to contain numbers, don't use them (E, not 3. O, not 0. etc.). Refrain from unnecessary abbreviation if at all possible (You, not u. You're, not ur. etc.). If you can't spell something, look it up. Pet peeves? Yes, but you'll be taken much more seriously and annoy far fewer people.
GMO's can be an incendiary subject, but that's no reason to behave immaturely. Please keep the forum civil. Problem posts will be removed, and repeat offenders will be banned. (Further clarification pending.)
You'll receive a notice in the forum before being officially banned. If for any reason you feel you are being banned unfairly, post your concern. The moderator will respond, and a vote (open to all members for 10 days) decides if you will be reinstated. During the voting period, new member sign-up will be closed. If you do not take action, you wil be banned two days after receiving notice.
